Mascola celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner given by their children at their home. Mr. and Mrs. Mascola were married May 9, 1943, at Our Lady of the Valley Roman Catholic Church, Orange. Mr.

Mascola retired in 1978 as owner of Mayo Estates, Bricktown, working as a devoloper and builder. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II. He is a member of the Greenbriar Woodlands Men's Club, here; VFW Post No. 8885, Brick-town; and the Disabled American Veterans Club, Spring Lake Heights. Mrs.

Mascola, the former Emily E. Liguori, retired in 1978 as owner of Emily Mascola Real Estate, Brick. She is former member of the Green-briar Woodlands Community Association board, having served as a member for six years. Mrs. Mascola is a member of the Greenbriar Woodlands Social Activity Coordinating Committee, Greenbriar Garden Club, Greenbriar Woodlands Women's Club and Brick Women's Club.

and Dorothy E. Smith celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Smith were married March 30, 1948, by a justice of the peace in Ansbach, Germany.

They had the marriage recognized April 8, 1948, by a U.S. Army chaplain at Roundup Chapel, Frankfurt, Germany; and on April 11, 1948, at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Helmsted, Germany. Mr. Smith is a retired Army major in the signal serving 24 years including in World War II and the Korean War.

He was a teacher at Hazlet High School for 18 years. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, here. Mrs. Smith, the former Dorothy E. Aleith, retired in 1994 after 30 years of employment as a sales expediter at Macy's, Eatontown.

She is a member of the German American Club, Lakewood; and the Rosary Altar Society of St. Catherine of Sienna Church, Farmingdale. Children of the couple are Dorothy and Ron Da Ponte, and Nancy and Timothy Racek, all Jackson; Joe and Lynn Smith, Bamegat; Theresa and Mike D'Aromando, Farmingdale; and Michael Smith, Howell. Mrs. Marchesano retired in 1990 as a school secretary for the Newark Board of Education. Doyle were married May 3, 1958, at St. Joseph's Church, Roselle. Mr. Doyle graduated from Rider College, Trenton. He retired in 1989 as a buyer for General Motors, Linden.

Mr. Doyle served in the Army from 1946 to 1949, based in Germany. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 10022, and the Resurrection Team of St. John's Church.

Children of the couple are Ro-sanne Letson and Dianne Letson, both Oceanport; Michael Letson, Aberdeen; Thomas and Dee Letson, Freehold; and Tricia and Curtis Kreitzberg, Marlboro.
