IVES, Looking back on God's gift given for twenty years, We remember him as a man, but that won't stop our tears. What wonders awaited, what dreams were lost, God called you home so early, your family bears the cost. We were a family so loving, we seemed as if one, Now separate, falling apart, from losing our son. Sunday dinners were the time when all of us were there, Since June 8, 1999, there remains only empty chairs. God we know we sound selfish for wanting him back, You've called him home to a place, where for nothing he lacks.

Forgive us for crying out wishing he was still down here, We need to hug and hold him, have him wipe away our tears. In our hearts we feel our son's and brother's ever present love, Robbie's strength embraces our souls from Heaven up above. Whispers enter our minds, helpfully pointing the way, Our so special guardian angel, now is Robbie's role to play.
