11., 2004 ASBURY MONMOUTH PAULINE POLLARD WASHINGTON, 87, of MATAWAN, died Monday, Feb. 9, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel, after a long illness. Born in Atlantic City, she grew up in Keyport, graduating from Keyport Hi School in 1935. She moved to Matawan in 1945. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Keyport.

She was a member of the Home Nursing Club organized by the church to provide home care of the sick. She was also the first president of the Monmouth County Chapter for the Screening of Sickle Cell Anemia. She met and married William M. Washington in 1941. She was blessed with 11 children, which included three sets of twins.

She was predeceased by her father, Thomas Pollard; her mother, Mary Lawson Pollard Jackson; her stepfather, Lloyd Jackson; and a sister, Margaret Pollard Jackson. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, William Washington; seven daughters and four sons-in-law, Wilma G. Brownlee, JoAnn P. and Kenneth Baldwin, Paulette and Eugene Owens, all of Aiken, S.C., Pamela Washington of Matawan, Millicent T. and Clarence Garland of Cliffwood, Marsha L.

and Frank Williams of North Brunswick, and Molina R. Jackson of Neptune; four sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis L. and Deanna of Brisbane, Dennis G. and Crystal of Franklin Park, William L. and Regina of Cliffwood Beach, and Melvyn and Tina Glover of Thornton, 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Second Baptist Church, Keyport. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Interment will be in Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet.

Anderson Funeral Service, New Brunswick, is in charge of arrangements. DAVID WEINSTEIN, 93, of Hal- landale, formerly of BELMAR, died Monday, Feb. 9, at Columbia Hospital, West Palm Beach, Fla. Born in Belmar, he lived in Hallandale. He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian, in 1994.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Marilyn of Sea Bright; a daughter and son-inlaw, Janet and Norman Fisch of Boynton Beach, two sisters, Lois Landers of Bemlar, and Roselyn Fabricant of Boca Raton, five grandchildren, Pennie, Lori, Jonathan, Kim and Geoffrey; and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Congregation Brothers of Israel Cemetery, West Long Branch. Donations can be made in his name to the American Heart Foundation. Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean Township, is in charge of arrangements.

RAYMOND PERCY WOOLLEY 92, of MANAS- QUAN, died Monday, Feb. 9, at Laurelton Village Nursing Home, Brick. He was a millright for W.F. Sherman Son, Manasquan, for many years, starting at the age 14. He also enjoyed gardening.

Born in Newark, he was a lifelong resident of Manasquan. He was predeceased by a sister, Doris Inoff. Surviving are his wife of 71 years, Michalena Yatczyszyn Woolley; three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Audrey Woolley of Maine, Robert and Vivian Woolley of Brick, and Raymond and Barbara Woolley of Barnegat; 10 grandchildren; and 27 greatgrandchildren. Friends and relatives may gather from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

3, at Bey Lea Village Nursing Home, Toms River. He was employed for 35 years as an assistant engineer for NJ Bell, Woodbridge. He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a sergeant in the Army Air Corps as a cryptology specialist. He was a communicant of St. Barnabas Church, Bayville.

He was a member and past president of the Fords Lions Club, Iselin American Legion, and member and past president of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Born in Cleveland, he lived in Fords and Palm Beach Gardens, before moving to Bayville 12 years ago. He was predeceased by his first wife, Catherine Cronin Benham, in 1978; a daughter, Roberta "Bobbi" Duffy, in 1990; two brothers, Prescott and Howard Benham; and a sister, Margaret. Surviving are his wife, Marrianne Wolcott Benham; two sons, Michael of Sykesville, and Barry of Duluth, seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be offered at 11 a.m.

Saturday at St. Barnabas' Church, Bayville. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905, in his memory would be appreciated.

Mastapeter Funeral Home, Bayville, is in charge of arrangements. ROBERT C. BENHAM, 85, of FANNY R. MUSTO BEVILACQUA, 81, of TOMS RIVER, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Bayside Manor, Keansburg.

She was a secretary for the buyers of Kress, Bronx, for five years, retiring in 1978. She was a communicant of St. Justin's Roman Catholic Church, Toms River. She was a member of the Womens Club and Social Club of Holiday City at Silverton. Born in the Bronx, she lived there before moving to Toms River in 1982.

She was predeceased by her husband, Mario, on Jan. 7, 2004; and a sister, Josephine Cefaloni. Surviving are two daughters, Carol Alleva of Leonardo, Middletown, and Barbara Gambichler of Edgewater, Bronx; a sister, Gloria Pomanio; six grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

PATRICK COLETTA, 85, of BRICK, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, a at home. He was a machinist-foreman for Michael Machine Shop, Little Ferry, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Brick Elks. He was a communicant of St.

Dominic's Church, Brick. Born and raised in North Bergen, he lived there before moving to Brick 47 years ago. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Mary France Coletta, in 1998; a brother, John Coletta; and a sister, Madeline Sgroi. Surviving are two sons and daughters Anthony and Charlene Coletta, and James and Susan Coletta; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Eugene Sharkey Sr. of Forked River, Lacey; a brother, Vincent Coletta of Whiting, Manchester; two sisters, Mary Ruggiero and Lucy Spagnuola, both of North Bergen; 10 grandchildren; and many children.

LEO J. DALTON II1, 50, of Lanoka Harbor, LACEY, died Mon- day, Feb. 9, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was employed as a stair installer with A.J. Stairs, Lakewood, for 10 years.

He was a 1972 graduate of Piscataway High School and a 1981 graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved boating. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Piscataway, Berkeley, and Rouge Mont, N.C., before moving to Lanoka Harbor five years ago. DALE ANDREA DELAHANT, 50, of Brant Lake, N.Y., formerly Surviving are a sister, Lois Delahant of Point Pleasant; and a brother, Robert Delahant and his family of Point Pleasant. THOMAS R. EWING, 66, of WARETOWN, died Monday, Feb. 9, at Hackensack University Medical Center. He was a selfemployed private investigator. He was in fellowship with the Church and the Cedar Run AsBarnegat Bay Assembly of God sembly of God Church.

He had a musical soloist ministry in this area and sang at many local churches and funerals. He served his country proudly in the Navy and Air Force. He had resided in Waretown for the past 30 years, moving from Collingswood. Surviving are his wife, Lois Cottrell Ewing; his children, Chad, Valerie, Vaughn, Victoria and Chuck; a brother, Franklin; a sister, Sally Brock; and several grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m.

ELIZABETH WALCOTT FISK FENCHEL, 72, of WARETOWN, died Monday, Feb. 9, at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Stafford. She retired in 1989 from the community development department for the township of Irvington, Irvington. She was the past president of the Irvington Board of Education in 1983 and served on that board for nine years. She was very active on the PTA Board and the Irvington Little League and the Police Athletic League.

When she was in Florida, she was very active with the American Legion of Bonita Beach. Upon retirement, she spent time in Waretown and Bonita Beach, Fla. Surviving are her husband, Herman G. Fenchel; two sons, Karl of Florham Park, and Kurt of Toms River; two daughters, Kristine Graham of Landing, and Kathy Breur of Waretown; and seven grandchildren, Kurtie, Kevin, Kody, Jeffrey, Justin, Jordan and Nicole. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m.

FLORENCE T. CAFIERO GRECO FODERA, 85, of Scotts- dale, formerly of TOMS RIVER and Belleville, died Sunday, Feb. 8, at Scottsdale Health Care-Shea, Scottsdale. She was a regulatory affairs secretary at the Schering Corp. in Bloomfield and Kenilworth for eight years, retiring in 1987.

Previously, she had been a medical secretary in the Clinical Research Department at Hoffman La Roche, Nutley, from 1965 to 1973. She was a graduate of St. Brendan's High School, Brooklyn, and Drake Business School, New York City. She was a communicant of St. Justin's Church, Toms River, and St.

Claire's Church, Long Beach Island. She was a member of the Silverton Community Club for Ballroom Dancers, the Dover Township Seniors Club, the Organ Club of America, and the Ocean County Election Board. Her joyful smile and loving spirit lit up the room, when she walked in. Most appropriate to her nickname, Dolly, was her favorite song, "Hello Dolly," which she enjoyed playing on her organ, along with "As Time Goes By." PAGE B7 nine years, retiring in 1986. He CORA GRANDE SIMONE, 79, Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Belleville from 1947 to 1991 and Toms River from 1992 to 2003 before moving to Scottsdale in 2003.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Thomas P. Greco. Surviving are her husband, Vincent "Jim" Fodera; a daughter, Janet M. Furlong; son, Thomas A. Greco, D.M.D., J.D.; a sister, Rita Marie Calabro; three brothers, Anthony, John and Joseph Cafiero; and a granddaughter, Sasha Greco Taylor.

Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at S.W. Brown Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre Nutley. The funeral will be 9:30 a.m.

10, at Whiting Health Care. He was employed as an electrician for New York City for 40 years until his retirement in 1966. He was a 84-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Born in Ballenmacarrow, Ireland, he came to the United States in 1912 and settled in New York City. He lived in Oradell before moving to Whiting in 1996.

He was predeceased by his wife, Alvina Parker Irwin, in 2002; and a son, Donald, in 1975. Surviving are six grandchildren, Peter Bedrosian of Lakeside, David Bedrosian of Brick, Paul Bedrosian of Elgin, S.C., Sharon Shirmohammad of Land O'Lakes, Donnamarie Irwin of Aurora, and Janet DeMore of Whiting; 11 great grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. 4000 EDWARD J. MC BRIDE, 70, of BRICK, died Sunday, Feb. 8, in Middlesex. He was a superintendent at Piscataway Public Works for 30 years, retiring in 1999. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and served on U.S.S.

Intrepid. He was a licensed pilot and flew out of Kupper Airport. He was active in Piscataway Recreation for many years. He was predeceased by a brother, Tom, in 1970. Surviving are his wife, Joyce McBride; a son, Edward J.

McBride of Brick; two daughters, Wendy Stawick of Piscataway, and Kathy Henry of Washington; a sister, Mary Ellen Weissel of Jackson Hole, a brother, Al McBride of Mohave Valley, and his companion, Lynn Dziuma. He then became the owner of Bearfort Lodge, West Milford, for was a World War II Army veteran and attained the rank of sergeant. Born in Paterson, he lived in North Haledon before moving to Toms River. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean Garrabrant Milke.

Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Charlene O'Connor of Hartsdale, N.Y., and Karen and Simon Perry of Basking Ridge; a brother, Howard Milke of Tennessee; and five grandsons, Charlie O'Connor, Jay O'Connor, Teddy O'Connor, Will Perry, and Jack Perry. 3094 ROBERT B. ORNE, 74, of LAKEWOOD, died Monday, Feb. 9, at Shorrock Gardens Nursing Home. He was a master machinist for Orange Roller Bearing, Orange, for many years, retiring in 1995. He also worked for Heldor Pools, Morristown, as a parts supervisor for 15 years.

Born in Orange, he lived in East Orange before living most of his life in Lakewood. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Corodine Orville Jr. and Nancy Orne of Lake Pleasant, N.Y.; two nephews and their wives, Corodine Orville III and Frances Orne of N. 4207 ELEANOR M. REILLY, 95, of Crestwood Village III, Whiting, MANCHESTER, died Monday, Feb. 9, at the Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge. She was the office manager for International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 164, Harrison, for 40 years, retiring in 1973. She was a communicant of St.

Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting, and a member of the Residents Club of Village III. Born in Newark, she lived in Maplewood before moving to Whiting in 1974. She was predeceased by two brothers, William in 1989, and Joseph in 1977; and a sister, Catherine McDonald, in 1990. Surviving are two nieces, Judy Lutz and Eileen Hagen; a nephew, William E. Reilly; and several great-nieces and greatnephews.

Prior to that, he was an auto mechanic for several GMC dealers. He was an extremely unselfish and generous man, who gave so much of himself to his family and friends and many local organizations. Born in Long Island, he lived in Shrewsbury and Wall before moving to Whiting in 1984. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Karen O'Connell Schweitzer; a daughter, Beth; a son, Joseph both of Whiting; his mother, Margaret Dreher Schweitzer of Whiting; a sister, Lois E. Landwehr of Indian Mills; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, former Berkeley Township Mayor Joseph Simone, in 1985. Surviving are a daughter, Camille Bolton; two sisters, Yolanda Sullivan and Amelia Magnatta; two brothers, Philip Grande and Louis A. Grande; and two grandchildren, Dennis Bolton and Corrine Bolton.

GUARINI SOLTMANN, 66, of BRICK, died Monday, Feb. 9, at Meridian Nursing Home, Brick. She was a homemaker. She was a communicant of the Church of the Visitation, Brick. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Lyndhurst before moving to Brick seven years ago.

She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Soltmann, on Dec. 30; and a sister, Clementine. Surviving are four sons and daughters Robert and Soltmann of Brick, William and Alicia Soltmann of Johnsburg, Thomas and Sharon Soltmann of Brick, and James and Jennifer Soltmann of Bloomfield; a brother, William J. Guarini of Wall; and 10 grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren, Tyler, Kristy, Kyle, Haley, Jarod, Arron, Hannah and Jacqueline. Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m.

Stephen's Episcopal Church, both of Waretown. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Bethlehem Chapter 40, Barnegat, where she had served as past matron and held various other offices and positions. She was a charter member of the Lacey Women's Club and a member of the Friendship Club and she had been active in various other organizations in Forked River, Lacey. Born in Newark, she was lived in East Orange before moving to Lanoka Harbor in 1970. She was predeceased by a grandson, David Parke Welden, in 1981.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Curt Roth; a brother, Russell Pinzino; a granddaughter, Georgia and her husband, Jeffrey Jekabsons; and two great-granddaughters, Sarah Jeanne and Emily Andris. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis S. Trotter in 1987. Surviving are three Frederick Trotter of Freehold, sons, and John W. Louis S. Trotter of Ephrata, Trotter Jr.
