Burial will be at Ocean County Memorial Park. GREGORY C. KOCHANSKI, 55, of River Plaza, MIDDLETOWN, died Monday, Dec. 29, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He retired in 2002 after 30 years as a splicing technician for Verizon, Shrewsbury.

He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was avid Giants Mets fan and an avid golfer and enjoyed writing music while playing his guitars. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Navesink before moving to River Plaza 17 years ago. He was predeceased by his father, Chester Kochanski; and two sons, James and Thomas Zilly. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Weeks Kochanski; his mother, Helen Kochanski of California; two sons, Dennis Kochanski of California, and Michael and his wife, Patty Zilly, of Tinton Falls; two daughters, Darlene and her husband, Michael Gorski, of Holmdel, and Sharon and her husband, Joseph Acciavatti of Middletown; one daughter-in-law, Diane Zilly of Toms River; one brother, Robert and his wife, Linda Kochanski, of California; one sister, Mary Ann Pichowsky of California; 10 grandchildren, Thomas, Melissa, Michael, Nicholas, Megan, David, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Hayley and Joey; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Red Bank. 'Funeral services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Jason's Dreams for Kids, 20 Monmouth St, Red Bank, NJ 07701 are preferred. MARIE KENYON LEONARD, 72, of WALL, died Monday, Dec. 29, at home. She was a real estate broker for the Danskin Agency, Wall.

She currently was a commissioner of the Ocean County Utilities Authority and the Manasquan River Regional Sewage Authority. She was a former member of the Wall Community Relations Committee, former president of the Wall Republican Club and a communicant of Holy Innocents Roman Catholic Church, Neptune. She was a graduate of Queen of Peace High School, North Arlington, and attended Caldwell College and the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. She also avidly participated in horseback riding and tennis. Born and raised in Kearny, she lived in Newark and Pompton Plains before re moving to Wall 36 years ago.

She was predeceased by a son, Edward in 1989, and a brother, Jerome Kenyon. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Edward B. Leonard; a daughter, Ellen Smith of Big Pine Key, two brothers, Richard Kenyon of Far Hills, and Eugene Kenyon of Lake Hopatcong; a sister, Ann Gasbeck of Tobyhanna, and a grandson, Wyatt E. Smith. Visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m.

Burial will be at St. Catharine's Cemetery, Sea Girt. ROY F. O'BRIEN, 82, of Boy- nton Beach, formerly of LONG BRANCH, died Sunday, Dec. 29, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.

He served in the Navy during World War II and Korean War as a chief petty officer electrical aboard ship. He attended Newark College of Engineering at night for seven years and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in engineering. He spent his professional career working as a civilian employee and electrical engineer at Fort Monmouth in Eatontown. He retired in December 1977 to Boynton Beach, where he served president and treasurer of the Limetree Association for numerous years. His other great passion in life was golf, which he played four to five times a week.

He served his God in many ways, including being a lector in New Jersey and Florida. He was well respected and well loved by many of the residents of the Limetree Community. Born in Eau Claire, he lived in Long Branch before moving to Boynton Beach. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Kathleen, in May 1999. Surviving are three children, Roy Jr.

of Las Vegas, Maureen Kingsley of Tinton Falls, Barry and his wife Marie of Andover; four grandsons, Scott and Shawn Kingsley and Brendan and Devin O'Brien; a sister, Jean Johnson of Venice, two sisters-in-law, Louise Zadorozny and Arleen Van Brunt of New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and into 9 p.m. with a 1,2004 JAMES VENDEMIA 74, of HOWELL, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, at home.

He was employed as a store manager for Quality Automotive, Summit, for 25 years, retiring 15 years ago. He was a volunteer with Vailsburg First Aid Squad from 1960 to 1974. Born in Newark, he moved to Union in 1974 and to Howell in 1996. He was predeceased by his wife, Arlene. Surviving are four sons, James Harry, Michael and Joseph Vendemia; and a daughter, Deborah Savastano; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Jennings.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Union Funeral Home, Lytwyn and Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Union. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at 8:15 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

VORIS. 75, of MANALAPAN, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was a payroll officer for First Fidelity Bank, Newark. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II.

He was a member for 20 years to Three Hierarchs Greek Orthodox Church in Brooklyn where he was a treasurer and parish council member. He also was a member of Greek American Veterans Association and Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church in Holmdel for the past 20 years, where he was on the parish council and building committee. Born in Newark, he lived in Brooklyn for 25 years before moving to Manalapan 28 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Margaret law, Voris; George a son and and Vera daughter in; Ronkonkoma, N.Y.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Paul Marinos of Old Bridge, and Sofia and Michael Montanti of West Orange; a brother, Angelo Voris of Lafayette, seven grandchildren, Anthony, Salvatore, Nicholas, Megan, Daniella, Kristina and Nicholas. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m.

YAVARONE, 80, of Yardville, a native of ASBURY PARK, died Monday, Dec. 29, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton from pneumonia, a complication of diabetes. He was a graduate of the Asbury Park High School, where he excelled in bowling and golf, the love of which he carried with him all through his life.

He was the owner of the Little Wonder Market in Asbury Park and then the Colony Market in South Belmar, which he owned and operated until his retirement. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Rose's Church in Belmar and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was founder and secretary of the Monteparo Memorial Golf League. He had a tremendous sense of humor and an infectious laugh, was an avid music lover possessing an uncanny natural ability to play the piano.

He was also a loyal New York Yankees fan. He was born in Asbury Park. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Antoinette Cappola Yavarone; two sisters, Lillian Zarcaro and Florence Tort; and two brothers, Robert "Sonny" and Frank Yavarone. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Maria Landi Yavarone; 10 children and their spouses, Anthony Yavarone of Houston, Marianne and Jim Nosuchinsky, of Freehold, twins Jay Yavarone of South Belmar and Val Yavarone of Toms River, Paul and Carol Yavarone, of Belmar, Catherine Joanne Yavarone, of Ludlow, Faith Mary and Tom Drennan, of Jersey City, Catherine and Tim Sewnig, of Yardville, LisaMarie Yavarone of Avon and the Rev. Mark Yavarone O.M.V., currently in the Philippines; nine grandchildren, Paul Helen Marie, Mary, Max, Joanne, Anthony, Daniel, Jonathan and Luke; four sisters, Frances Spielfogel of Long Branch, Isabelle Scallo of Neptune, Grace Corea of Crofton, and Carmel Pappa of Stuart, and many nieces and nephews.

He was a heating technician for Petro Fuel, Clark, for many years, retiring a year ago. Born in Jersey City, he lived there before moving to Middletown 17 years ago.

Surviving are his wife, Mary DePasquale Barnickel; a son, Charles two daughters, Joy Miller and Charlene Barnickel; his mother, Louise Dole; a sister, Joyce Castanza; two brothers, Raymond and Kenneth; three grandchildren, Cynthia Smayda, Tiffany Behnke and Jessica Miller; great grandchild, Tyler James Smayda. BOURY, 83, of New City, N.Y., whose son lives in ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, died Wednesday, Dec. 31. She worked in the accounting department at Teachers College, Columbia University, N.Y.

Born in New York City, to John J. and Katherine Horne Burke. In 1947, she married Louis Boury in Corpus Christi Church, New York City. She was predeceased by her husband, Lois Boury, in 1993. Surviving are a son, Joseph Boury of Atlantic Highlands; three grandchildren, Amanda, A.J., and Matt, all of Lincroft; a sister, Joan Maloney and her husband, John; and two nieces, Joan Moran and Patricia Titland.

Saturday at St. Anthony's Church, 34 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, N.Y. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Middletown. JOSEPH F. BRADLEY, 45, of BRICK, formerly of BELMAR, died Tuesday, Dec.

30, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was a drafts specialist for Crown Beverages, Wall. He was a Navy veteran, serving from 1976 to 1979. He graduated from St. Rose High School, Belmar, and George Washington University, Washington D.C.

A man of many talents, he was a glass artist and a sport fisherman. Born in Neptune, he lived most of his life in Belmar, before living in Long Branch and Brick briefly. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph J. Bradley, in 1999. Surviving are his mother, Dolores Bersey Bradley of Plattsburg, N.Y.; two brothers, John of Beekmantown, N.Y., and Patrick of McLean, a sister, Carolyn Bradley of Tinton Falls; two nieces and two nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at St. Anselm's Church, 1028 Wayside Road, Wayside, Ocean Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m.

Reilly Funeral Home, Belmar, is in charge of arrangements. VINCENT DANDEO, 82, of Pompano Beach, formerly of HAZLET, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was a construction supervisor for Public Service Electric and Gas, East Orange, where he worked for 50 years before retiring. Born in Orange, he lived there, West Orange and Hazlet, before moving to Pompano Beach.

He was predeceased by his wife, Rachel Ann, in 1999. Surviving are a daughter, Carol Ann Dandeo of Atlantic Highlands; six sisters, Mildred, Mary, Olimpia, Edith, Emma and Grace; two granddaughters, Tina Goodhue of Bayville, Berkeley, and Amanda Dale Burbank of Leonardo, dletown; and three great grandchildren. He was a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Mark's Church in Sea Girt, and served as an usher there for many years.

He was also an auxiliary member of the Sea Girt Volunteer Fire Department. Born in Hoboken, he lived in Cresskill before coming to Sea Girt 37 years ago. He was predeceased by a brother, William Durkin; and a sister, Virginia Minnock. Surviving are his wife, Margaret M. Maloney Durkin; a daughter and a son-in-law, Nancy D.

He enjoyed playing his guitar and was also fond of pets. Surviving are his father, Michael D. English of Red Bank; his mother, Marcie Clarizio of Middletown; two brothers, John of Freehold, and Red Bank; maternal grandparents, Chris and Lena Kluin of Middletown; paternal grandparents, John and Anita Donohoe of his stepfather, John Clarizio of Middletown; an uncle, Chris Kluin and other uncles, aunts and cousins. 29. He retired as chief of police at Norfolk Naval Base in 1997. He retired from the U.S. Army as a colonel and was a veteran of two tours in the Vietnam War. His decorations included the Bronze Star with an Oak Leaf Cluster, the Meritorious Service Medal with an Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Army Commendation Medal with an Oak Leaf Cluster.

He was a member of Great Bridge United Methodist Church, where he was a head usher. He was a member of the Sovereign Military Order of the Knights Templar. He was a president of Sewells Point FOP Lodge 28, president of the Tidewater regional FOP, and past president of Reserve Officers Association Farragut Chapter. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Employers support of Guard and Reserves. Born in Long Branch, he graduated from Toms River High School and Temple University.

Surviving are his wife, Carol; a son, Michael; a son-in-law, Jack O'Connell; two granddaughters, Jenny and Holly O'Connell; a brother, William Ford of Pine Beach; two sisters, Marcella Reininghaus of Pinewald, and Joan Luker of Willingboro; two aunts, Florence Schultz of Selbyville, and Martha Coombs of Lantana, and many nieces and nephews. MADELINE R. PASZKIEWICZ, 61, of Clarksburg, MILLSTONE TOWNSHIP, died Saturday, Dec. 27, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She was disabled and retired from her 18-year position as administrative assistant to the director of public works of East Windsor Township. She belonged to the Public Works Association and was recording secretary for four years.

She had many passions and interests. She had a love for theater and books and was a member of the Carolyn Denham Literary Club. She enjoyed sitting in her sun room watching the birds at her bird feeder while listening to Frank Sinatra's music. Even when she was subjected to a wheelchair, she was the person in the room that stood out. One was drawn to her unselfish generosity.

She lived for her sons, her husband, and their happiness. Nothing gave her more joy than her family. She was a thoughtful and caring soul who gave to others without consideration for herself. She will be remembered as a devout Christian, a devoted wife, a caring and loving mother, who will be missed but never forgotten. She was predeceased by her mother, Laura R.

Belvedere Flagiello. Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Raymond two sons, Jeffrey and Raymond Ill; a daughter-in-law, Jennifer; her father, Augustine J. Flagiello; a sister, Rosalie Flail; a brother, Angelo Flagiello; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Winowicz Funeral Home, Adeline and Beatty streets, Trenton.

She was born in Jersey City. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Plumacher a son, Francis Plumacher; and her parents, Gustav M. Sr. and Fannie Marie Kouala Hill. Surviving are a son, David Plumacher of Atlantic Highlands; six step-children; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Interment will be in Bay View Cemetery, Leonardo. CARMELA "BEBE" ROSEMARY SERRANO, 53, of Clarksburg, MILLSTONE TOWNSHIP, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was employed for 15 years at Princeton Financial Services and for the past two years at Prudential Financial Services of Newark as a certified financial analyst. She earned a bachelor's degree from New York University at Albany.

Born in New York City, she lived in Hazlet before moving to the Clarksburg section of Millstone 15 years ago. Surviving are a daughter, Veronica Miller of Trenton; four brothers, Domenick of Stony Point, N.Y., Edward of North Pole, Robert of Brewster, N.Y., and Jonathon of Larchmont, N.Y.; two sisters, Marie Dwyer of Paling, N.Y., and Rosemarie Serrano of Manhattan. She worked as a hairdresser in Toms River and Forked River, Lacey. She was a loving homemaker and devoted herself to family life. She enjoyed clay sculpting, gardening, and her pet boxer, Daisy. Her love was immeasurable, and she will forever be missed. Born in Pinewald, she lived in Toms River and Forked River, Melbourne, and Rosevalley, before moving to Indialantic in 1989.

She was predeceased by her father, Hillard Stackhouse; and a brother, James Stackhouse. Surviving are a husband, Stanley Bair; a son, Robert Bair of Tacoma, her mother, Naomi Stackhouse of Waretown; two sisters, Diane Malloy of Waretown, and Joan Evernham of Santa Maria, a brother, Jack Stackhouse of Pitman; and two grandsons, Braden and Spencer. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Forked River United Methodist Church, Route 9, Forked River. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Waretown.

4207 FRED H. CARROLL. 79, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, died Monday, Dec. 29, at home. He worked in freight operations for Central Railroad of New Jersey for many years and was also a member of the railroad union.

He was a member of Whiting Bible Church, Whiting. From his early teens, he was a devoted volunteer at the Keswick Colony of Mercy, Whiting. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Bayonne, North Arlington and Bloomfield before moving to Whiting in 1991. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Ruth Carroll, in 2002. Surviving are a daughter, Lois Slotnick of Boones Mill, and a son, Dean Carroll of Cincinnati.

No. 3646 PAUL S. COLUMBO, 24, of Ronks, formerly of POINT PLEASANT, died Monday, Dec. 29, following injuries received in an automobile accident. He was employed as a carpenter for OnSite Structures, Ephrata, Pa.

He was a 1998 graduate of Point Pleasant Beach High School. He enjoyed the ocean, snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing. He was born in Point Pleasant. He was predeceased by his mother, Lucille Guerin Columbo. Surviving are his father, John A.

Columbo Jr. of Manheim; a brother and sister-in-law, John A. and Becky Columbo of North Carolina; a sister, Theresa of Manheim; and a maternal grandmother, Theresa Guerin of Point Pleasant. Visitation will be held from 2 to 04 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

Friday at Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, Pa. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Rev. Francis T. Mene officiating.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of theffamily..
