OBITUARIES IN TRIBUTE Brigitte K. Sloan Belmar Died Sept. 6, 1996 was my privilege to be her friend. My best friend is a description that I fits her perfectly. I knew I I I I I I I I I I could always count on her to be beside me, smiling with me in the good times, and helping me through the bad.

Brigitte had a sense of humor, a love of life and was always willing to try something, at least once. Her friendship was a very special gift to me, one I will never forget and one I never took for granted. I always thanked her for her willingness to be there. I thanked her for caringand for being in my life. Her family is truly diminished by the loss of this lady, as is everyone who knew her.

PRISCILLA SMITH, 41, ASBURY PARK, died yesterday at home. Miss Smith, also known as "Alnisa Bilal," was a self-employed title searcher and also worked for the New Brunswick Parking Authority. She was a member of the Pan-African Movement of New York. She was born in Long Branch and lived in New Brunswick before moving to the Shore area five years ago. She was born in Washington, D.C., and lived in Long Island City, N.Y., and in Hempstead, N.Y., before moving to Manchester in 1978. Surviving is her husband, Clifford Abt, Manchester. FERRIGNO, 41, TUCK- ERTON, died Saturday at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin, Stafford Township.

He was a workshop employee at the ARC in Lakewood. He was a member of St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Tuckerton. Mr. Ferrigno was born in Lakewood and was a lifelong Tuckerton resident.

FRANZ, 90, TOMS RIVER, died Saturday at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was director of market surveillance and compliance for 20 years with Reynolds and Co. in New York, retiring in 1970. Prior to that, he was assistant secretary of A.M. Kidder on Wall Street, for 25 years.

He was a communicant of St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church, Bayville, Berkeley Township, past president of the Beachwood Democratic Club and a member of Beachwood Seniors. Mr. Franz was born in Weehawken Township and lived in Cliffside Park and Beachwood before moving to Toms River seven years ago. He was a 50-year summer resident of Beachwood.

He retired in 1982 as a waiter for the Morris County Country Club, after 12 years of service. Prior to that, he was a waiter at the Carteret Hotel, Elizabeth, for 20 years. He was educated in Mallorca, Spain. Mr. Ensenat was born in La Plata, Argentina, and came to the United States in 1948, living in Union before moving to Belmar in 1983.

She was a communicant at Church of the Holy Innocents, Neptune, and a member of its 12 O'Clock Folk Group. She helped form and hosted a Bible study in her home for 20 years; was a member of the Community Bible Study of Manasquan; Eatontown Chapter of Women's Aglow, where she led the music ministry; and was a 1963 graduate of Monmouth College. Mrs. Tave was born in Neptune and lived in Ocean before moving to Neptune 30 years ago.

Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Stuart; a son, Scott, Wall Township; two daughters, Lori Wilson, Neptune City, Lisa Taffin, Millstone Township; her mother, Natalie Easu, Ocean; two sisters, Jacki Apicelli-Diehl, Belmar, Kathi West, Ocean; and four grandchildren. She was born in North Jersey and lived in West Orange and Shark River, Neptune, for 40 years before moving to Neptune City 13 years ago. Her husband, William, died in 1963. WOOD, died Friday at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. He was a selfemployed farmer in Pennsylvania and Estonia for many years. He also worked as a self-employed carpenter in Pennsylvania and served in the Estonia Army.

Mr. Leola was born in Estonia and lived in Pleasant Mount, before moving to Lakewood eight years ago. His daughter, Siret Krizeek, died in 1995. Surviving are his wife, Dagmar, Ostermann Leola; three sons, Tony, Point Pleasant, Arvo Dalton, Pennsylvania, and Sam, Burlington, N.C.; a sister, 'Tina Loomis, Waymart, and nine grandchildren. SARAH "SALLY" A. MEEGAN, 83, Leisure Village West, LAKE- HURST, died Saturday at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Mrs. Meegan was born in New York and lived in Leonia before moving to Leisure Village West 10 years ago. Her husband, Charles died in 1986, and her son, Robert died in 1978.

Surviving are a son, Bruce Lakewood; and two grandchildren. DeGraff Cremation Service, Lakehurst, is in charge of arrangements. FLOYD LINCOLN RINHART, 81, LAKEWOOD, died yesterday at home. He was an author and historian who wrote many books with his wife, Marion Hutchinson Rinhart. At the time of his death, he was working on a book of satirical reflections about nineteenth century tourists i in Florida.

An expert on American pioneer photography, he also was a researcher and consultant for the Department of Photography and Cinema, at Ohio State University. He previously was the sales manager at Lindsley Lumber Co. in Miami, and a manager at Bailey Lumber Co. in Boca Raton, Fla. Mr.

Rinhart was born in Newark and lived in Fort Pierce, and Athens, before moving to Lakewood seven months ago. His daughter, Joan Johnson, died in 1978.
