Matthews, son of Mayor and Mrs. Robert A. Matthews, 95 Willow St. Miss Kelly, a graduate of Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, attended Cambridge Business School, Boston. She is employed by Bell Telephone Laboratories, Holmdel Township.

Mr. Matthews, a graduate of the same high school, served in the Army. He is vice president and part owner of Simplex Boat here. LONG BRANCH -The engagement of Miss Nancy Kalish to Bruce Landon has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Joseph Kalish, 266 Lenox Ave. He is son of Mrs. Clifford Empey, New Plymouth, Idaho, and the late Philip S. Landon. Miss Kalish is a graduate of Long Branch High School and Douglass College, where she was theater critic for the school newspaper.

Mr. Landon was graduated cum laude from University of Utah at Salt Lake City. He has a masters degree from Rutgers University, where he is teaching working toward his doc- JUDITH A. Sallee attended the ceremonies at Jersey Shore Medical Center Sunday where she served as secretary of the Board of Governors for many years. Toms River Area Mrs. Ruth Perry, Beachwood, has an article in the "Making Good Cause Pay Off" department of the June issue of Good Housekeeping Magazine. She describes youngsters giving benefit carnivals, using kits provided by American Cancer Society, Mrs. Perry is director of the society's Ocean County unit.

She appeared in plays at the Royal Poinciana Playhouse, peared on several shows including those of Merv Griffin, Skitch Henderson and Barry Farber. Miss Nemec was a debutante with the Palm Beach Opera Ball. She is a member of the Junior League, Junior Patroness Guild of the Opera, and Screen Actors Guild and Equity. She founded "Young Doers of America," after being caught in invasion of Czechoslovakia last summer while on a European tour with her family. Mr.

Doremus graduated with honors both Blair Academy, Blairstown, N.J.. and Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Va. He was president of the senior class at Stetson University College of Law, St. Petersburg, from which he was graduated this month. Auditions Are Open For Summer Stock NEW YORK Peter Funfolo and Ted Kurdyla, producers of the first all student production presented at the Garden Arts Center by Mater Dei High School, will sponsor an intown summer stock for students.

Auditions for young performers between 16 and 21 years of age are being held from 5-10 p.m. throughout the week and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the 13th Street Theater, 50 W. 13th St.
