Carboni, 81, of Ross, was Pennsylvania's representative for the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration from 1959 to 1977. He was a 40-year Gold Card member of Cement Masons Local 526 and its assistant business agent from 1949 to 1954. Mr. Carboni was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Church on the North Side and former secretary-treasurer of the Labor Management Conference of Western Pennsylvania. Surviving are his wife, Mary DeMore Carboni; a daughter, Rita C.

Roberts of the North Side; a son, Albert J. of West View, a brother, Aldo of Los Angeles; and four grandchildrea Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow at the Heard Funeral Home, 4047 Perrysville North Side. John G. Collins John G. "Jack" Collins, longtime owner of a refrigeration business in the South Hills, died Friday of I complications from a stroke at St Clair Hospital in ML Lebanon. Mr. Collins, 75, of Peennont Ave- nue, Dormont, owned and operated I Collins Refrigeration Co.

in Dor- mont for 40 years, turning the i business over to his son, John A. I Collins, in 1980. He remained active 1 in the companv until his stroke. Mr. Collins was a technical ser- geant in the Army during World War II and received the Silver Star and Purple Heart.

He was a mem- ber of Dormont Veterans of For- eign Wars Post 694 and the Beechview Moose and a former member of the Beechview Lions ''Club. Besides his son, John, of ML 5 Lebanon, he is survived by four daughters, Mary Ann Mikrut and Patricia Torpey, both of South I Park; Joan Santora of West Mifflin, and Bemadette Collins of Dormont; a brother, William Collins of De- troit; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Knisley, a registered nurse who had worked at Magee-Womens Hospital, died of cancer Thursday at her home in Ohio Township. Mrs. Knisley, 66, was a 1946 graduate of St Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing in Youngstown, Ohio. Wilson Pauline Gilette Wilson, 91, a longtime social, religious and community leader in the Hill District, died Thursday of cardiac arrest in her Homewood home. She was a Pittsburgh native and had been a secretary in the county Prothonotary's Office and a city policewoman, joining the force in the 1920s and working in the Missing Persons Bureau. She was a 1919 graduate of Schenley High School and a former member of the Bethel AME church. Surviving are three nephews and two nieces. Friends are being received from I to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

William A. Gray William A. Gray, 73, retired stationary engineer for Glenshaw Glass Co. in Shaler, died Friday of a heart attack at his Aspinwall home. Mr.

Gray retired in 1978 after 40 years with Glenshaw Glass. He was a member of Millvale Sportsmen's Club. He is survived by a brother, Edward of Meadville, Mercer County. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at H.

Harold Humphreys, a retired tax accountant died Friday at Baptist Nursing Center in ML Lebanon of congestive heart failure. Mr. Humphreys, 86, of ML Lebanon retired from Koppers Co. in 1971. He was a 1927 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Business Administration.

He was an active member of the Beverly Heights United Presbyterian Church in ML Lebanon, where he served as an elder and clerk of session. Mr. Humphreys is survived by his wife, Helen; a daughter, Nancy Rally of Hopewell, Beaver County; and four grandchildren. Burial tomorrow in Allegheny County Memorial Park, McCandless, will be private. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.

Joseph Simko Joseph "Smitty" Simko, who received a Purple Heart, died Thursday of sepsis at the University Drive Veterans Affairs Hospital.

Mr. Simko, 69, a resident of West Mifflin and former resident of Brin-ton Towers in Braddock Hills, had been quadriplegic since 1944, when he was wounded at St. Lo, France, while a private in the 117th U.S. Army infantry. Before his military service he worked as a laborer.

He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Russian Club of Rankin, the Croatian Club of Rankin and St. Michael Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, Rankin. Survivors include sisters i Holko and Ann Adams of Vt: I Mifflin; brothers, Michael Semko of Regent Square, Frank Semko of Braddock Hills and Raymond Ruth T. Hirsch Ruth T. Hirsch, 82, who was active in several charitable organizations, died Friday in Shadyside Hospital of pneumonia.

Mrs. Hirsch of Oakland was a graduate of Schenley High School and Duffs Business College and worked for a time as an executive secretary. She was a member of Rodef Shalom Congregation in Oakland, the Ladies Hospital Guild of Shady-side, Hadassah National Council of Jewish Women and the Organization of Rehabilitation Training. Mrs. Hirsch is survived by her husband, Morris; a son, Dr.
