Carnegie Tech and Pennsylvania State. Now the chances are that nine games will be played, instead of eight, and that the Panthers will be busy on the Saturday preceding Thanksgiving day, Instead of remaining idle that day and resting up for the annual clash with the Center countians. Pitt authorities are still in the dark regarding the ruling by Col.

In the meantime Manager Davis has gone quietly about the rearrangement of his schedule, and If the Rees order proves to be official, as he does not doubt will be the case, he will have a schedule which, he is convinced, will prove even more attractive than the original draft of dates.

None of the games originally scheduled will be lost, but some shifts will be made. On Oct. 19, the date originally allotted to Syracuse, it Is likely that the Detroit Naval Training station team will be here. This is one of the strongest service teams In the country and will form competition for the Panthers. The authorities at Detroit have applied for the game, and it has been tentattively awarded them.
