PLEASANT IS 1 AFTER BOARDWALK Mayor Howard I Tindell of Point Pleasant will soon appoint a board of five citizens to make inquiries Into the cost of a permanent boardwalk and -maintenance of same for the Point Pleasant beach. There has been considerable activity among the residents and cottagers at the Point for a better boardwalk.

At the weekly meeting of the Point Pleasant council a committee of the Point Pleasant Beach Improvement association, an organization comprised -of summer cottagers at the ocean colony, applied to the boro body for sev- eral Improvements In the, cottage seo-tion of the resort including boardwalk betterments. The other Improvements asked for by the association had at) been ordered made by the council prior to the arrival of the committee but the matter of a better boardwalk, to replace the temporary one now ln use, will be taken up without delay. J. A report reached the officials that Breyton's death was due to a blow from an oar, which knocked him senseless into the water. There is no charge that this was not an accidental outcome of the action of the play which was being performed.
