A great public meeting will be held at Grafton on next Monday, which will be the rallying place of the suffrage forces. James Morton Callahan, head of the department of history at the West Virginia university, and Dr, Thomas E.

Hodges, president of the State university, will be the principal speakers of the occasion. At this meet ing the leaders of the movement will announce their plans for the battle, and a great gathering of the forces of woman's suffrage is expected. The political not is boiling merrily In Taylor county and the three parties are giving promise of a lively time until the fall election. The Tsrylor county Republicans held a primary on Tuesday, at which officers for the county were nominated. The Bull Moosers named a county ticket some time ago and eelected the senatorial nominee from the Thirteenth district Saturday.

The Democrats are getting lined up for their selection of a ticket. The leaders of the various parties claim to have strong tickets in the field and expect a hot race for political plums. The first of the series of union meetings, which will be held In the city churches on each Sunday evening in preparation for evangelistic services to be held next fall, was held Sunday at the United Brethren church. The sermon was delivered by Rev. Powell, who was assisted by Rev.

A large corsage of bride's roses and lilies of the valley was worn. Her only attendants were her little niece. Isabelle Harris Lowery, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M.

Lowery, of Highland ave Crafton Heights, as flower girl, who wore a lingerie frock, adorned with pink bows. She carried a pink and white French Dasicei nnea with pink roses tied with pink maline. Roland Harris, the nephew or xne bride, was ring-bearer. He wore a white suit, and carried a white satin cushion bearing the ring. After the ceremony a amner was served, covers being laid for 20 at the bride's table, which was centered by a flat basket of pink roses ana lines oi the valley.

A loose lavender maline bow was tied to the basket. Mr. Staniek and his bride left fer the north, where they will spend their honeymoon. Following the wedding trip they will be at home in Sheraden after Aug. 15 Of Interest Here.

A beautiful out-of-door home wedding took place at Sunnyview, near Lisbon, at 12 o'clock Wednesday, at which the two daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Stookesberry were married. Miss Annabel Stookesberry to Melvin Lewellyn Forbes, of Lisbon, and Miss Lorilla Myra Stookesberry to Carl M. Rhoads, of Glen Osborne, Pa.

The ceremonies were performed on the lawn by Rev. E. H. Wycoff, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, of Columbiana, O. The attendants were 10 young women, who as bridesmaids, were: Miss Anna Lynch, Miss Edna Johnson, Miss Lucille Barrlnger, Miss Jean Van Fos-th Misses Forbes, of Libson: Miss Ethel Stookesberry, Miss Ethel Chamberlain, of East Palestine, Airs.

The wedding appointments were of green and white, ferns ami palms and white flowers being used. The bridesmaids wore white gowns with Russian tunics and carried shower boquets. The brides' gowns were of crepe meteor, chiffon and lace and their boquets were of white sweet peas and rosebuds.
