A Keystone comedy will be the film feature. SHERIDAN SQUARE. The headline attraction at the Sheridan Square theater for the first half of this week will be Will Oak-hind in a new skit. There Is a bit of a story, but the success of the skit depends on the voice of Oakland ud his associate players.

Other attractions include Fred Pistol and dishing, blackface comedians; Fred and Mabel Henning, jugglers; Ed Marshall, the ehalkologlst; the Gladiators, acrobatic feats, and a new episode In tfy "Neglected Wife" serial. For -the last three days "The Headliners." a. miniature musicaH comedy. Is the topline attraction. Circus days will be recalled by Sully, Rogers A Sully, who will repeat their trampoline act.

Lillette, the dancing and singing girl, with her violin playing, is an attraction extraordinary. Adelaide Hazel are sisters who form a delightful combination. The film feature will be a new chapter of "The Mystery of the Double Cross." ACADKMV. The Academy will open Us fall season next Saturday night with theater renovated and re-decorated and with a new burlesque company. The first attraction 8 entitled the "Sunshine Girls" and will remain over the week of Aug.

6. Producer Gus Arnold has engaged Comedian Billy Mossey. Ho will be surrounded by James Dailey. Irish funmaker. Max Gordon, Sammy Jacobs, Hebrew comedian.

Jack Christie, Billy Howell and Gus Arnold. Edna Raymond, prima donna, Phillls EUls. Lillian Palmer and Dolly Sterling, the girl with the big voice, will have the feminine roles. There will be 25 girls in the chorus. Ortenta will offer a dance as an added attraction.

"The Sunshine Girls" will be in six big scenes, two acts, and 15 song numbers. The first part Is "Pittsburg of Today" and the second act Is entitled "The Maxins Frolic." Living pictures will conclude the second part. KEXNYWOOD PARK. Visitors to Kennywood today wilt find a fine music program awaiting them, Nirclla's band being the attraction. Lillian Berlo. the champion of the Pacific coast, is sitting on the spring board. Italian war pictures to be shown for theater this week. chestra of forty men under the direction of Carl Bernthaler. A large crew of men Is utilized back of the stage for sound and voice effects that greatly enhance the atmosphere of the picture.

WEST VIEW PARK. The Pittsburg Orchestra band will furnish the concerts today at West View park. The summer dancing season at the resort is at its height and the big floor is crowded every night. While amusement devices have been largely patronized, rowing and motorboating have attracted many. Picnics this week are as follows: Monday St.

Ann's church. Millvale. Anchor club dance in the evening. Tuesday St. Anthony's church, Millvale.

Wednesday St, Joseph's Roman GIRLS TO DIVE IN TANK WITH TRAINED SEALS. There should be more than passing Interest in the exhibition which Winston's Water Lions and Diving Nymphs will give at the Davis theater this week as a special attraction in the program of nine vaudeville acts. A reservoir in which a counle of shapely girls and a school of seals swim and dive. Is the laritest portable glass tank ever constructed. Jt car- ries 00 square feet of two-Inch Imported plate glass, making a transparent surface which reveals every act and movement of the swimmers.

Sixty thousand gallo'ns of water are required to All it and this gives the tank a total weight of tons. Prof. H. W. Winston is responsible for the novel idea of introducing his diving girls with the trained seals.

A distinctive feature of the attraction Is the surprising degree of Intelligence Prof. Winston has developed in his mammals. the affair being under the auspices of the Serbian War Orphans Relief committee. The Scottish Clans wUl hold forth Saturday. PALM GARDEN PARK.

The Gayety theater will open Its season next Saturday evening, with Arthur Pearson's "Step Lively Girls." Mr. Pearson will present a burlesque attraction that will be burlesque In name only. The cast Includes among others. Rich (Shorty) McAllister, an English music hall comedian, who was first seen In this countrv with Karno's In an English Music Hall." Harry T. Shannon and Maudie Heath.

Conroy and LeMaire have returned to vaudeville with the biggest laughing success of their career. It is called "For Sale, a Ford," and will be offered as the top line attraction in the bill of nine acts at the Davis theater next week. These comedians have the record of" a succession of hits. The Passing Show of 1013 took them away from vaudeville. Julia Arthur will sta under the management of Klaw Erlanger next season.

Miss Arthur is now playing over the Orpheum circuit in Liberty Aflame. She will probably appear in a new play upon a war theme. Harry Lauder's revue. "Three Cheers," is proving a great draw at King's theater, Portsmouth. where it is appearing as beautiful to the eye as attractive to the ear.

The Lauder part is taken by Harry Mer-rylees. Alic Lauder, brother of the comedian, is in the supporting case "The Chatterbox." Bayard Velller'a coraedy, and his first departure from the field of melodrama, was given its first public presentation in Stamford, yesterday. William Harris. producer of "The Thirteenth Chair," is also the managerial sponsor for "The Chatterbox," and Miss Fay Bainter. "the acting find of a generation," will be seen in the principal role.

There will he no successor to the late Sam Chip, of Chip Marble. John W. Dunne. Mary Marble's manager-husband, has just announced that Miss Marble will star next year ALL SUMMER! which the literature of sunny Spain abounds. The Cansinos.

brother and sister. are children of the famous Andalu-sian dancing master. Senor Don Antonio Cansino, and are respectively aged CO and 21. Rose Coghlan, who celebrated her fiftieth year on the stage shortly oe-f or a her daughter. Rosalind Cochland. starred her Ornhtum tour in "Our Little Bride." and who was lately featured in "Our Betters." is likely to be seen again in vaudeville. She has a sketch called "The Deserter." said to be a timely comedy 'written by Wil-lard Mack and Thomas F. Fallon.

Otto Haerbach has returned from the west and is busy making "The Aviator." a musical comedy, for Cohan Harris. In its new form it will be called "Goinar Ud." While In Salt Lake City, his home town. Mr. Hauer-bach built a few houses with some of his surplus funds. William Cary Duncan has r-to New York to supervise r'i for "His Little Widows." tht play which this week will omi.

"His Little Widows" will be the first play to the present season in New York. It will begin a Jiew season next week. It was one of the last to succumb to the heat of Broadway.

William Cary Duncan, the principal ccntributor of this musical comedy, is at North Brookfield. where he is finishing some new stage offerings, for the seasqn. Henry W. Savage has engaged Margaret Jarman. mezzo-soprano from Los Angeles, who has sung dramatic prima donna roles in grand opera in Continental Europe and this countiy, to appear in musical comedy.
