Squatting in a corner of his cell in the Chihuahua penitentiary Pablo Lopez, the captured Villa bandit, today explained the two culminating crimes of Francisco Villa's career the Santa Ysabol massacre and tho Columbus raid. Lopez was Villa 's chief lieutenant in both affairs. Sitting in the shadow of a passing death, for Pablo is to be executed just as soon as his wounds are healed, the bandit declared that in killing 18 Americans at Santa Ysabcl last January he only obeyed Villa 's orders.
