SOCIAL NEWS ASBURY PARK EVENING PRESS, SATURDAY, JULY 26, 1952 SOCIAL NEWS Manasquan Junior Woman's Club Stages Stardust Ball Specialty dances, at the third Woman's Club held general chairman of Monmouth Memorial prizes and dance contests were featured last annual Stardust Ball of the Manasquan at Sea Girt Inn. Mrs. John A. Condon, was the affair which was given for the benefit of the Rehabilitation Center, Long Branch. Music was provided by Mark Zimmerman's orchestra from Hillside.

Miss Lee DePolo and Richard Weipert were awarded the prize in the Charleston contest and Wayne Barrow, won the elimination grand prize was won by Mrs. John L. Owen with Mr. and Mrs. Harold, Johnson, Robert Hoeyman, A.

She wore a nylon open brim picture hat carried an arm bouquet of shrimp-colored gladioluses. Misses Ruth Holmes, NepCity; Saundra Aul, Maplewood; Dolly Heinzinger, Neptune City; and Kay Norcross, Atlantic Highlands were bridesmaids.

Their open shoulder gowns had satin bodices and nylon skirts. Shore Lodges To Honor Moser committee from United Rebekah Lodge, Belmar, and Neptune Odd Fellows Lodge, Neptune, met Thursday night in Neptune Lodge Hall, Corlies Avenue, to arrange the program for the reception to Edward H. Moser, this city, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellowship. The party will be Sept. 27 at 7 P.M. at Crystal Brook Inn, Eatontown.

Harry M. Lyon. Belmar, grand marshal of the Grand Lodge, is chairman. Lodges of the Subordinate bekah branch lodges, of the the order, Encampment the Rica the Patriarch Militant Branch will be invited. All members of the Grand Master's staff will attend, as well as the President of the Rebekah State assembly, Mrs.

VFW Auxiliary Adds Member Mrs. Signe Nordell, mother of the commander Belmar-Juneau Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, was made a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Wednesday and Mrs. Florence Didden was accepted as a member at a meeting held in the Belmar Community Center. Mrs.

Myrtle Class presided. Mrs. Mildred Loffett gave a report of the district encampment and reported the auxiliary had received a citation. Mrs. Rose Veron was named chairman of the essay contest to be conducted by the unit as a part of the nationwide, essay Loffett contest.

Plans Discussed For Big Sea Day POINT PLEASANT -The committees of the Company auxiliary met recently complete plans for the third annual Big Sea Day dance Aug. 9. Music will be furnished by the "Hi-Hatters" directed by Charles Guthrie. There will be dancing from 10 P.M. to 2 A.M.

Further arrangements for a float to be entered in the Big Sea Day pageant were discussed. Mrs. Enderlin is chairman of the dance and Mrs. Ruth Sellinger, co-chairman. Mrs.

Dystrophy Group Cites Late Aide Members of the Monmouth County Chapter of Muscular Dystrophy Association in a meeting Tuesday night at the home of the president, Miss Helen Dunn, Union Avenue, Neptune passed a Louis Brodstein work as resolution commending. the late chairman in the Shore area for the Tall Cedars Muscular Dystrophy projects and also as chairman of the Asbury Park fund drive during the December national campaign. Gray, son of Mrs. Isabella Van Gordon, Branchville, at the Methodist Church 1 here June 28. Mrs. Norman De Neef played the wedding music. The bride, given in marriage by her father wore a gown of white organdy over taffeta with a net overskirt and peplum apron effect of embroidered organdy.

She wore a headpiece of seed pearls from which fell a fingertip veil of Chantilly lace, and carried a cascade bouquet of white roses. Mrs. Kennett Eckman, Adelphia, sister-in-law of the bride was matron of honor. Her gown was of white organdy over nile green taffeta, and she wore a head piece of yellow roses and carried a matching cascade bouquet. Allan Decker was best man, ushers were Frank Kymer and Milton Eckman, Jr.

The bride's mother wore a dress of navy blue print with white accessories and a corsage of pink roses. The bridegroom's mother chose a light blue lace dress with white accessories and wore a similar corsage. A reception was held in the church hall after which the couple left for Niagara Falls.
