6A Friday, January 30. 1981 The Seguin Gazette-Enterprtx Seguin, Texas Riders headed for stock show Bvery year, trail drives cities around the South T- Texas area gather and head for the San Antonio Stock Several different groups through Seguin en route 1 year, one of the groups he the Mesquite Trail- I-Stivers They will enter Se guln about p.m on Tuesday. If. Their ride will start in They will parade through Seguin and on to Lo. zano's Ballroom south of town they will hold a trail drivers' dance that evening and spend the night.

On Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. the group will leave for New Berlin and then on to San Antonio. The Queen of the Mesquite Trail Drivers is Pam Hellmann of Adkins. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Melvin Lange and Mr and Mrs. Irvin Hellmann Sr all of Seguin This year's mascot is Cory I.atka. son of Johnny and I. OB Latka of Adkins. 1980-81 QUEEN of the Mesquite Traildrive Pam Hellmann and Mascot Cory Latka will be traveling through Seguin with the drive Tuesday.
