Public Notices Public notices printed in newspapers help fulfill the citizen's constitutional right of due process of law by putting him on notice of matters which affect him or his property. Thirty-three members of the Class of 1945 attended the 25th anniversary reunion Saturday night at Crisann's Restaurant. Former teachers, husbands and wives of class members, swelled the attendance to approximately 70. Miss Alma Johnson, former high school mathematics teachei and now retired, Duane Wind, former band instructor and now a Humboldt business man, and Mrs.

Wind were special guests. Mrs. Delores Hansen Lynn, president of the class, presided over the events of the evening. During a brief business meeting Howard Tellier of Humboldt read the minutes of the last reunion held five years ago. Phillip Hansen of St.

Louis recalled memories to his classmates when he read the last will and testament of the class. Several letters were read from graduates and faculty that were unable to attend. Special tribute was paid to the memory of six departed classmates. They are Jack Russell, Marilyn O'Connell Russell, Dorothy Brownfield, LanaEngstrom, Ralph Minion and Lila Maassen. Prizes were awarded for special recognition or accomplishments.

Robert Verbrugge of Eau Claire, was recognized as the class member with the youngest child, age 4 months. Mrs. Eunice Gustafson Groves of Fort Dodge was the class member with the oldest grandchild. Phillip Hansen of St. Louis traveled the greatest distance to attend the class reunion.

Arne Sorlien, who has moved 15 times in 25 years, is the class member who has moved the most times. In August he will become administrator of Iowa Lutheran Hospital at Des Moines. Mrs. Edna Larson Sheehan of Humboldt is the class member with the largest family-six children. The committee in charge of arrangements was composed of Betty Worthington, Alice Warner, Tom McBurney, GordonDay and Romaine Lee.
