Seniors Not Pros, Says Dees BLOOMINGTON The Archie Dees' All-Stars received the "green light" today for their proposed tour featuring seven Indiana University seniors.

The team is slated to play a benefit game in Franklin's Vindivier Gym March 24. "We have the whole matter straightened out," Dees commented. "All of the boys will get expenses only, which means they definitely cannot be classified as professionals." M. K. Summers of Browns-town, chairman of the Indiana Amateur Athletic Union basketball committee, had charged the All-Stars were to receive 60 per cent of the gate.

"This simply isn't true," Dees answered. He said the group will be sanctioned by the AAU. Included in the All-Stars are Greenwood's VanArsdale twins, Dick and Tom, Jon McGlocklin, AI Harden, Ron Peyser, Steve Redenbau-gh and Larry Cooper. Franklin's Sam Yount, who will introduce Indiana Hoosiers basketball players at the game in Franklin March 24, said he talked with Dee's representative Tuesday and the i tour will definitely be sanctioned by the AAU and players will not lose their amateur status by parti-ipating in the game.
