LOUIS POST-DISPATCH .48 TUESDAY, APRIL 26, 1994 OBITUARIES Regina Sexton; Was Rosati-Kain Teacher Regina Sexton, a longtime teacher and coach at Rosati-Kain High School, died Monday (April 25, 1994) of infirmities at the Mother of Good Counsel Home in St. Louis. She was 94, Miss Sexton retired from Rosati-Kain in 1966 after teaching at the school for 42 years, She began her career in 1 924 as a speech and drama teacher and director of plays, In HKIO, Miss Sexton bewail physical education classes at the high school. Soon after thai, she started varsity basketball and volleyball teams, Many of the teams she coached won area and Mate championships, Miss Sextoa as btvrn and raised in Carlinville, HI.

to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Among the survivors are her husband, Harry Felknor, a former Brentwood alderman and police chief; a son, Harry Felknor Jr.

of St. Louis; a daughter, Pamela M. Berra of Mehl-ville; and three grandchildren. Leonard Vaughan; Special Bus Official Leonard Vaughan, a retired Special School District official, died Monday (April 25, 1994) at his home in Hazelwood of complications after suffering a stroke. He was 76.

Mr. Vaughan retired in April 1982 from the Special School District, where he was director of transportation. He started with the district when it was formed in 1959 and was in charge of the district's three buses. When he retired, he was responsible for more than 400 buses that traveled more than 1 million miles each year. He was active for many years in the National Association of Pupil Transportation, and in 1972 and 1973 he served as president of the organization.

In 1977, he received the Director of the Year Award from School Bqs Fleet magazine. Mr. Vaughan was born in Oklahoma City, but he finished his schooling 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the New Calvary Cemetery in Carlinville. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m.

Saturday at the Chapel of the Mother of Good Counsel Home, 6825 Natural Bridge Road. Among survivors are her sister, Edith de Chasca of St. Louis; three nephews; and four nieces. Emilee Felknor, 66; Watercolor Artist Emilee Felknor, an area artist known for watercolor paintings, died Sunday (April 24, 1994) at her home in Brentwood after a long illness. She was 6(5.

Mrs. Felknor was involved for many years in the St. Louis art community, She was a former president of the St, Louis County Art Association and served as an official of the St. Louis Women Artists, of the South County Art Association and of the Soviety of Independent Artists. 1972, the Independent Artists Society named Mrs.

Felknor artist of the year. Her watercolor depictions of the intricate designs of nature were well-known throughout Missouri. The Missouri Department of Conservation held several exhibits of her paintings. Mrs. Felknor also helped organize the annual Art Happening Festival in Quoeny Park.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Calcaterra Fu in Normandy. Before joining the Special District, he was a mechanic for the Normandy School District. In the 1950s and early 1960s, Mr. Vaughan served on the St.

John Board of Trustees. He also was active in the St. John Lion's Club. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Shepard Funeral Chapel, 9255 Natural Bridge Road in St.

John. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Among the survivors are two daughters, Sandy Hill of Belgrade, and Terrie Vaughan of St.

Ann; two sons, Richard Vaughan of Foris-tell, and Dennis Vaughan of Roberts-ville, a sister, Audrey Friel of Fredricktown, 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Gilbert L. Godfrey, 51; TWA Supervisor Gilbert L. Godfrey, a longtime supervisor for Trans World Airlines died Thursday (April 21, 1994) at St. Louis University Hospital of complications from diabetes.

He was 51. At the time of his death, Mr. Godfrey, of Overland, was a reservations supervisor at TWA. He worked for TWA for more than 25 years. Mr.

Godfrey was a native of Boston and attended Northeastern and Boston universities. Before joining TWA, he worked as a deputy sheriff in Boston and as an ombudsman between teen-agers and police. He also worked as a professional photographer and played semi-pro football in the New England area in the early 1960s. Mr. Godfrey was twice president of the International Plastic Modelers Society and was a longtime member of the National Conference of Christians and Jews.

Until recently, he worked as freelance photographer for the NASCAR Winston Cup racing series, working at a number of race tracks around the country. A funeral service will be held at noon today at the Austin A. Layne Mortuary, 7239 West Florissant Avenue, Jennings. A second service will be held at noon Thursday at the Davis Funeral Home in Roxbury, Mass. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Boston.

Among the survivors are his parents, Lloyd and Ruby Godfrey of Boston; and a sister, Gail Carr of Santa Ana, Calif. Memorial contributions may be made to the Winston Cup Racing Wives Auxiliary, P.O. Box 251, Har-risburgh, N.C., 28075. Jerome J. Schulte, 27; Restaurateur Restaurateur Jerome J.

"Jay" Schulte perished in an auto accident early Sunday (April 24, 1994). He was killed shortly after leaving his popular neighborhood eating spot, the Deli-Icious Deli Pub on Big Bend Road in the Stonegate Shopping Center near Manchester. He lost control of his Pontiac Trans Am and struck a tree near Big Bend Road and Huntington View. He lived in the 900 block of Dogwood Creek Drive in Manchester and would have celebrated his 28th birthday on Saturday. In 1988, Mr.

Schulte was working at a car rental agency when he decided that he could do better. With a colleague, Bill Henson, he quit. On Aug. 8 of that year, they opened their restaurant, which has since become a neighborhood institution. "He was like a brother to me," Henson said.

"We went through a lot together." Mr. Schulte graduated from De-Smet High School and attended the University of Missouri at St. Louis. He was engaged to Kim Sandvoss of Black Jack. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m.
