Obituaries Indiana Gazette, tlitirsrfay, prlt MRS. SUSIE ELIZABETH HAGAN of Templeton R. D. 1 died 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at the home of her daughter, Mrs.

Sherry After a four day illness. August 5, 1875, daughter of and Catherine Neal Barnett, in Porter Township, son County, she married Edwin Gahagan in 1900. He died in 193S. Mrs. Gahagan was a member of Zion Methodist Church in Porter Township.

One daughter, Mrs. Alottza (Maybelle) Sherry of Templeton R. D. sons, Don Gahagan of North Almsted, Ohio, and Berle -Gahagan of Kent, Ohio; three step children: Harry Gahagan of Darlington, Mrs. Maud Cutler of Youngstown, Ohio, and Mrs.

Ella Himes of Youngstown, Ohio; seven grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren survive. Friends will be received at Bly Funeral Hdme, Dayton from 24 and 7-9 p. m. Thursday. Services will be held at the funeral home Friday, at 10 a.

m. The Rev. William Altman Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Methodist Cemetery, Porter HARRY F.

LINDOW of 319 Chestnut Indiana, -passed away Tuesday, April 5, 1960, at 1:30 e.m. at his late home following an Illness of several months. Born July 30, 1909, in Pittsburgh, A he was a son of the late Charles F. and Augusta Milbrodt Lindow. His entire life was spent in Pittsburgh until coming to Indiana two years ago.

Mr. Lindow was associated with the Fisher Scientific Company, as Warehouse Department Foreman and while a patient in the Indiana Hospital recently had received his 15 year service pin from the Company. Surviving are his wife, i Lindow; a son, Ronald, at home; two brothers, Charles E. and Earl, both of Pittsburgh; one sister, Mrs. Augusta Stern, Pittsburgh.

Friends are being received at William F. O'Brien Funeral Home, 3724 California N.S., Pittsburgh, where services will be conducted Friday, April 8, at 10:30 a.m. Interment -in Northside Catholic Cemetery. TERRENCE VINCENT (TED) McQUOWN, 70 years old, died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday morning, April 6, at 10:10 a.m. of a heart attack.

He was born in Grant Township, Indiana County, October 30, 1889, the son of James A. and Mary Jane'Shankle McQuown. He is survived by his wife, Rose Mary Stonebraker McQuown and 9 one son and two daughters: Bernon V. McQuown, Elyria, Ohio; Mrs. Sidney (Berniece) Henry, Hillsdale; Mrs.

Harry (Eleanor) Kerr, Latrobe; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; four brothers and one sister: Ernest McQuown, Rochester Mills RD Charlie McQuown, MariOn Center Murray McQuown, Marion Center Paul McQuown, Indi. ana and Mrs. Hazel Lloyd of Ak- ron, Ohio. Friends will be received at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Hillsdale, after 7 p.m. today where services will be conducted Sunday, April 10 at 2 p.m.

Rev. Frank M. Yarnel officiating. Burial will be at Best Cemetery, Grant Township, MRS. NELLIE P.

SHOEMAKER, 7011 Shannon Road, VerOna, passed away in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Wednesday, April 6, 1960. Born in Saltsburg, she was 60 years of age, had lived in the Oakmont Verona area for 33 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Oakmont. Surviving are: Her husband, Lauren P. Shoemaker; one son, Howard C.

of Penn Hills; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Edwards of Canton, Ohio, Miss Clara Stahl of Wii- kinsburg; one brother, i 1 Stahl of Indiana, Pa. Also survived by one grandchild. Friends received at the Leonard P. Burket Funeral Home, 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont, where services will be held Saturday, April 9, at 1 p.m.

Interment will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg. DONALD (JIM) ERNEST OSKEY of 103 Bridge. Wilmerding, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 1960, at 6:05 a.m. in the Veterans Hospital, Oakland, Pittsburgh, where he had been a patient for the past 26 days. Born February 17, 1927, at Slickville, he was a son of Margaret Gamble Oskey and the late John Oskey.

Most of his life was spent in Slickville and Saltsburg and the past two years at Wilmerding. He was a World War II and Korean War Veteran, serving the 1669th Engineers, U.S. lArmy, from 1945 to 1954. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Margaret G.

Oskey, Wilmerding; a son, David; three brothers: Harvey, Saltsburg RD Raymond, Wall. Ronald, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Hoyman, Pitcairn; Mary Helman, Slickville. Friends will be received at Robinson Funeral Home, Saltsburg, where services will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p. m.

Rev. Harold Abram will officiate and interment will follow in the Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg. IVAN CLAUD DIAS of 955 Oranmore Street, Pittsburgh, passed away at 1:30 Tuesday morning March 22, in St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was a son of John and Harriet Everett Dias, formerly of deceased, Surviving are five daughters and one son, one sister and four brothers, also nieces and nephews, and grandchildren.

His wife, Mrs. Rebecca Lichtenfels Dias, two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at the Wolf Funeral Home in Wilkinsburg on Friday, March 25. Interment was in a cemetery near Heshbon, Pa.
