In a raid at 4 Shomin the detectives arrested Sam Robinson, 27, of 10 Monaca on charges of operating a gambling house and selling untaxed liquor. Some 40 visitors were released. Robinson was arrested April 7 on a similar charge but the trial has not come up yet.

Also arrested was Eugene Tallo, who detectives charged with operating a gambling house on the second floor of 1203 Fifth Ave. The 14 patrons to the speakeasy were released.
