The contract will run for one year and can be reopened for wages in March, 1952. Union Shop Issue The chief issue in the strike, Mr. Downs said, was the union's demand for the union shop. The company confirmed the details of the settlement. The "modified" union shop provides that all new employes will join the union after 30 days, old employes who are now in the union will stay in, but old employes who are not in the union need not join.

Mr. Downs said "only a couple of the men are not members of the union." 35 District G3s Back from Korea Men Return Under Rotation Program Thirty-five more Pittsburgh-district soldiers have returned from Korea under the rotation program, the Army announced today. Theodore Williams. 334 7th New Brighton. Fayette Trust Action Dropped Minister Withdraws Injunction Demand A minority stockholder today withdrew his request for an injunction against the sale of the Fayette Title Trust Bldg. But the windup of the Federal Court hearing was a victory for the plaintiff, the Rev. Charles M.

Moser of Pine Plains, N. Y. Both sides agreed to a public sale of the property "as soon as feasible." And there was "a general understanding that it would be sold on the basis of 10 per cent down instead of the original 30 per cent," said Attorney William Friedman, who filed the suit. "Under this agreement, more people would be able to bid on the property," Friedman said. Mr.

Moser had asked that directors of Uniontown's tallest building be barred from selling it and that a receiver be appointed. The court, however, declined to appoint a receiver until briefs had been submitted by both sides. The suit was against Directors S. Ray Shelby, Donald M. Higbee, J.

Espey Sherrard, John C. Core and Joseph Burwell; the Fayette Title Trust Bldg. and against Jay Leff, Uniontown banker, and. his father, Samuel Leff, of Pittsburgh. The equity suit is expected to be heard in Federal Court within 18 months.

The request for a temporary injunction was designed, to halt sale of the build-iing pending hearing of the suit. (l fl SPEflR BRINGS if In fu YM THIS FINE VALUE! JJS EVERY PAIR WORTH $10 TO 12! Mmf I toy Type Oxfords. ALMACT On Monday, Dec. 3. 1951.
