Born in Nicktown Sept. 2, 1895, he was a son of Theodore and Catherine Kirsch Nealen. He was a retired instructor for Vale Tech, Blairsville, and was a member of SS. Simon and Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville; American Legion Post 407; VFW and the Last Squad Club, both of Blairsville. He had served overseas during World War I.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Jenkins Nealen; two sons: SM. Sgt. Marlin at Andrews Air Force Base. Washington, B.C.; T.

Sgt. Rolin L. Ford, at Hamilton Air Force Base, eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; four brothers and three sisters: Mrs. Catherine Parrish, Mrs. Barbara Shank, John J.

Nealen and Miss Demetria Nealen, all of Nicktown; Brother Vincent Nealen, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Andrew J. Nealen, Canada; Urban J. Nealen, Buffalo, N.Y. THOMPSON 57, Rural Valley, died Saturday, April 24, 1971, at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning. A son of George and Marcie Ann Holland Thompson, he was born July 1. 1913. at Allemans- ville, Pa. He was a retired miner.

Mr. Thompson was a member of the Allemansville Methodist Church and was a social member of the William Penn Fraternal Society. A son of Joseph and Maria Gigloth Gallo, he was born Nov. Mr. Gallo was a member ot St. Bernard's Catholic Church of Indiana. He was a former resident of Barnesboro and had resided in Indiana since 1941.

He was associated with the former Greiner Baking Co. Surviving are his wife, Lena Andriotti Gallo; and these children: Mrs. Stanley (Rose) Bernard, Indiana RD Mrs. Paul (Josephine) Shutco, Barnesboro; John, Indiana; James Aviston, Mrs. Ben (Frances) Cunningham, Indiana; Mrs.

Aldo (Lena) Buratti, Pittsburgh; Joseph, Penn Run RD; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends are being received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Richard T. Bell Funeral Home, Indiana. Requiem Mass will be offered at 10 a.m.

GEORGE W. REESMAN, 65, Dayton RD 2, died Sunday, April 25,1971, at 7:30 a.m. at his home following a brief illness. A son of Charles M. and lola Rupp Reesman, he was born Aug.

14,1905, in Wayne Twp. A retired miner and farmer, he was a member of the Woodmen of the World and was an associate member of the Dayton District Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are his wife, Verda McGregor Reesmen; five sons: Charles, Kittanning RD George, Kittanning RD Glenn, Kittanning; Jack, Yatesboro; Gary, at home; five daughters: Mrs. Grace Murray, Dayton RD Mrs. Lois Whitacre, Indiana; Mrs.

CLYDE J. SMITH, 79, died Wednesday, April 21, 1971, at the Pocatella General Hospital, Pocatello, Idaho. Born July 7, 1891, in Cookport, he was a son of John and Annie Roberts Smith. He taught two terms of school, one in Dixonville and one in Fleming's Summit. Mr.

Smith and his brother went West and homesteaded near Cheyenne, Wyo. He was a veteran of World War I serving with the U.S. Navy. Surviving is a sister, Elsie M. Adams, Penn Run.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Ford B. and Bud two sisters: Sarah J. and Edtha. Services were held today at the Downard Funeral Home, Pocatello, Idaho. MICHAEL D.

McCOY, 72, Northfield, Ohio, formerly of Sagamore, died Saturday, April 24,1971, at the Mt. Sini Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio. A son of Halvor and Sarah Lewison Ellefson, he was born January 10,1911, in the state of Minnesota where he spent his early life. Mr. Ellefson had resided in Emporium for some years where he was associated with the Sylvania Electric Products Co.

For the past 25 years he had lived in Bayside, Long Island, N.Y. and was a vice president of the General Telephone and Electronics Co. in New York. He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothea Evelyn Kinter, a native of Kintersburg, Marion Center, RD a son, Dana Stanley Ellefson, Bayside, Long Island, N.Y.; a daughter, Kristi Gayle Ellefson, at home; a grandchild, Lome Svend Ellefson. Friends will be received at Robinson-Lytle's, Indiana, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

where services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. Pastor Reinhold K. Weber will officiate and interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery. MRS. MARY ELLEN QUINN, 88, 413 Church Indiana, died Monday morning, April 26, 1971, at Scenery Hill Manor.

A daughter of Jeremiah and Bridget Ryan Crowley, she was born March 6,1883, at Poultnev, Vt. A former resident of Granville, N.Y., she has been a resident of Indiana since 1924. Mrs. Quinn was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church of Indiana.

Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Carl (Alice) Hoffman and Mrs. Edna Vogel, both of Indiana; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a sister, Miss Alice Crowley, Rutland, Vt. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Quinn in 1959. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Tuesday at the Richard T. Bell Funeral Home, Indiana. Requiem Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard's Church, Indiana and interment will be made in St.

MILLER, 73, Blairsville RD 2, died Saturday, April 24, 1971, at the Latrobe Area Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Born Dec. 28, 1897, in East Pittsburgh, he was a son of Robert and Bridgett O'Brien Miller. He was retired from the Federal Lab in Tunnelton in 1958 and was a Western Pennsylvania Humane Agent for 22 years. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Kuno Miller; two sons: George, Braddock; Charles, North Braddock; two granddaughters.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Richard K. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Blairsville, where services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Walter L.

Wenhold officiating. Interment will be made in the Blairsville Cemetery. PETER BERNINI, 84, of Blairsville RD 1 (Palmertown) died Sunday, April 25, 1971, at the Indiana Hospital. Born March 21, 1887, in Parma, Italy, he was the son of Achille and Delia Bernini. He was a member of St.

Bonaventure Roman Catholic Church, Black Lick. Mr. Bernini had lived in the Black Lick area almost his entire life and was a retired miner having forked for the Creighton Coal Co. He was a member of the UMWA Local No. 3676 of Tide and Societa Mutno Lavoratore Italiana of Blairsville.

Surviving are his widow, Angelina Busi Bernini; five daughters: Mrs. Victor (Charlotte) DeMarines, Black Lick; Mrs. Charles (Pearl) Signorino, Homer City; Mrs. Emma Benamati, Indiana RD Mrs. Frank (Jayne) Gorton, Blairsville RD Mrs.

Richard (Delia) Bukoskey, North Tonawanda, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Anita Forni, Parma, Italy. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maria Allinoui Bernini in 1955. Friends will be received after 7:30 p.m. this evening and on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

at Robinson-Lytle's, Indiana. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bonaventure Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville. Interment will be in the St.
