Mrs. Peter E. Whalen, Alton, was organist, and John Bowers, Alton, sang "Ave Verum." "Panis Angelicus" and "Ave Maria," Bach-Gounod. Miss Howard wore a gown of white imported Chantilly lace, satin, fashioned with a molded bodice and a bouffant skirt which terminated in a chapel train. The bodice had a high round neckline, long sleeves tapering to the wrists and ending with ruffles of lace, and was closed down the back with lace buttons.

They wore short capes of matching net, and Chantilly lace calots corresponding to their frocks in color. The calots were trimmed with lilles of the valley and small putts of illusion, They wore white lace mitts, and their shoes corresponded their dresses in color. Girard-Heraty Wedding At St. Mary's Church With the Rev Walter Deppisch officiating the wedding of Joseph, Girard and Miss Mary Kaye Heraly took place this morning at 10 o'clock in St. Mary's Church. After the marriage was solemnized Father Deppisch read nuptial mass. Mr.

Girard is the son Mr. and Mrs. Albert Girard of 628 East Eighth street and his bride is daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo M.

Heraty and 8 niece of Miss Sara March, 1900 Beall avenue. White gladioli were used Int decorating the high altar, palms were placed in the sanctuary. Miss Rosalee Heraty was maid of honor for her sister, and Miss Mary Lou Aholt of WashIngton, a former classmate of the bride, was bridesmaid. Albert E. Girard, S.

WAS best man for his brother, and Joseph Goeken, groomsman. Frank Girard, cousin of the groom, and James Chapman of St. Louis were ushers. Rosalee Heraty and Miss Aholt entered the church before the bride, appearing in' yellow and mint green lace frocks, styled with oval necklines, bouffant skirts and brief cap sleeves. Satin sashes encircled the molded bodices of the frocks, and, the skirts, trimmed with hias folds of satin, were worn over hoops.

They wore square lace picture hats, and carried cascade type bouquets, Miss Heraty, who was in green, carried yellow chrysanthemums and Miss Abolt's flowers were bronze china chrysanthemums. The blossoms were arranged with ivy. The bride, who walked down the aisle with a cousin, James Lindsay, appeared in a gown of white nylon lace, over satin, fashioned with a sheer yoke of nylon marquisette outlined by seed pearls in a scalloped motif. A molded bodice was trimmed down the back with buttons, and long sleeves formed points. The skirt of the gown was worn over hoops and a formal train.
