Mr. Martin, 85, was a member of the Men's Golden Age Club and St. Jo--seph's Catholic Church, both in Coraopolis. He is survived by six sons, James and John of Coraopolis, Anthony of Ne- ville Island, William and Joseph of Florida, and Frank Eldridee of gan; three daughters, Mrs.

Walter Ro- kicki and Mrs. Warren Grubb of Neville Island and Mrs. Roy Young of Ohio; 33 grandchildren and 22 greatgrandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 tonight at the Copeland Funeral Home, 867 Fifth Coraopolis. Sc vices will be at 10 a.m.

Eason, retired lieutenant of 'the Bellevue Police Department, died today in Suburban General Hospital. Mr. Eason, 70, of 640 North i Bellevue, was a policeman for 36 years A Navy veteran, he was also a volunteer fireman in Bellevue while he was on the police force. He was a member of the West Viewers Campers Club. Surviving are his widow, Mrs.

Barbara Francis Eason; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Folan and Mrs. Geraldine rMaggio; a brother, Harry, and three grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 vp. m.

William J. Martin Services for William J. Martin, owner of a Ross Twp. printing firm, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St.

Kil-ian Church, in Mars, Butler County. Mr. Martin, 53, of North Pine Circle, Pine died Saturday in Suburban General Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at the Green Valley Golf Course, North Hills. He was a member of the North Hills Small Businessman's Administration and St. Kilian Church.

Survivors include five sisters, Anna Clare Martin and Christina T. Martin, both of Pine Twp. Mrs. Mary Jane Fortney of Bedford, and Mrs. Francis Cornelius and Mrs.

Catherine Cornelius, both of Pittsburgh. Friends may call tonight and tomorrow at the Simons Funeral Home, 7720 Perry Highway, North Hills. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, John H. Haney John H. Haney, a First Ward deputy constable for 43 years, died today in Shadyside Hospital.

Mr. Haney, 73, lived at 2020 Forbes Uptown. He served in the country's peacetime Navy as a youth and later served in the Army during World War II. He was active in the American Legion, DIES Robert Hutchins, former president and chancellor of the University of Chicago, died Saturday night in Santa Barbara, Calif. Hutchins, 78, also founded the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions.

A WILKINSBURG MAN faces multi- pie charges in City Court after leading police on a 20-minute high-speed chase in a stolen car that ended when he al- legedly tried to run down a police officer. Paul Allen, 19, of 507 Holmes was charged with criminal attempt to 1' commit murder, theft, receiving stolen 5 property, recklessly endangering anoth- er person, resisting arrest, and various traffic offenses. Police said the chase started yester-J'day at 12:30 a.m. on Baum Boulevard (near East Liberty when Allen was spotted in a stolen car.

Allen was forced to J'stop at a police roadblock at Friendship Avenue and South St. Clair Street, po-" lice said. When Sgt. A WEEKEND BURGLARY at the Brown Demolition 8012 Conemaugh Homewood, resulted in the loss of tools and furniture valued at $4,744. Police say the incident occurred sometime between Saturday and yesterday morning. Entry was gained through a bathroom window. a JAMES E. THREE GIRLS who rode their bicycles for charity yesterday at Three Rivers Stadium had their bicycles stolen shortly after the event ended. Police say the girls, two 12-year-olds and a 13-year-old, had participated in Bike Hike 77, a fond-raising event for the mentally retarded, and then parked their bikes. When they returned at 3 p.m., the bicycles were gone. Total value was put at $190. 0 police said Alien threw the car in re- verse and tried to hit Mulkerin.
