Butts anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Charles Butts of Alta Loma are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.

Charles and Narceille Butts were married by her father, the late Rev. J.B. Marshall, at her home in Beaumont on June 25, 1932. They made their home in Galveston until they moved to Alta Loma in 1948. They will be celebrating with a family reunion and open house at their home.in Alta Loma Saturday.

The event will be hosted by their children, Cecile Truitt of Waco, Mignon Butts of Canyone Lake and Charles Butts Jr. of Morris, Illinois. Hopkins-Childs Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Hopkins of Galveston announce the engagement of their daughter, Dawana, to Terry Childs, son of Mr.

and Mrs. V.L. Childs of Galveston. The future bride is a graduate of Ball High and is employed by Childs Motor Co. Her fiance is a graduate of Ball High and is employed by Childs Motor Co.

An August 7 wedding at Bible Baptist Church in Galveston is planned. Crim anniversary Rena-Jane and Clinton R. Crim were married at Trinity Episcopal Church in Galveston on June 22, 1932. Both originally worked for American National Insurance Co. Gillard anniversary Mr.

and Mrs. Jerry L. Gillard celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a party hosted by their daughters, Renee McCulloch, Toni Reeves and Rikki Gillard. Mr. and Mrs.
