After nine months she woke up in the middle of the night with labor Jaflns. The doctor on duty at he hospital told her she was ot pregnant and she must ave eaten something that didn't agree with her. Is this possible? Please an- wer because I believe some- Jung similar is happening to me. The only difference is I not married. Knitting Booties In My Head Dear Knitting: A woman can- ot THINK herself into pregnancy but she can want a Mid so desperately that her body develops all the physical ymptoms.

The medical term or imaginary pregnancy is aseudo-cyesis. The emotionally isturbed women need psychiatric care. DEAR ANN LANDERS: lease tell me what you think of the organization called the short for Other Vomen Ltd. The purpose of this group is to rehabilitate ex- wives. They help the "Alimony Tunkie" shape up instead of itting around watching TV, drinking martinis, overeating, and making life miserable for her former husband.

O.W.L points out that a man who com. mits murder oan be freed in 20 years but a man who is the ictim of a bad marriage often has to pay for it the rest of his life. The O.W.L.'s are not against rhild support. They insist that i father has a moral obliga- ion to take care of his children until they are of legal see that they are properly fed, clothed, housed and educated. They claim it is unfair for an ex-wife to sit on her backside and collect alimony to "get even with the louse" or because she is too darned lazy to move.

Please express your views. Garden City Dear Card: The goals of the group, as outlined in your letter make sense for SOME ex- wives, but not for all. An exception is the woman who, af- tea- 25 or 30 years, gets dumped for a younger model. If she has no skills and has never worked she should not have to start punching a time clock. Ditto, the ex-wife who is in poor health, or the discarded mate of a rich man especially if she helped him get rich.

I do agree that a childless divorcee who puts in fewer than five years should not be allowed to hug the alimony Teddy Bear for the rest of her natural life. Not only is this grossly unfair to her ex-husband, to the woman who may be trying to help him rebuild his life, but a divorcee with loads of loot is bound to attract some terrible heels. Confidential to Heartsick in Warren, Ohio: Dry your tears, Buttercup. A bargain she was not. There are plenty more where she came from.
