"Often the same girls show up for interviews," she said. "They carry complete wardrobes in their cars. Some of them are specialists, for commercials featuring pretty faces, feet, hands, backs, teeth and swimsuits.

A few qualify in almost all categories." A couple of Miss Crumley's girls are doing well in other fields now. Cheryl Miller stars in "Daktari" and Donna Douglas in "The Beverly Hillbillies." Others who appeared In Screen Gems commercials were Pamela of Austin, Meredith MacRrae, Beverly Adams, Camilla Spaarv and Chris Noel. "We consider ourselves fortunate if we find just the right girl out of 10 prospects," she "Almost all of them aspire to movie or television drama and hope to be discovered selling soap or a hair preparation. Some are married and are content to continue doing commercials." KSD-TV WILL ADD THE LAS VEGAS SHOW to its Saturday night schedule beginning May 6. The two-hour program series will be telecast five nights a week from the Nevada city by the newly formed United Network.

KSD-TV will carry only the single program, replacing the Joe Pyne show. The Monday night repeats of the Pyne program may be dropped later for more of the Las Vegas show. KTVI'S CHARLOTTE PETERS SHOW will begin telecasting in color beginning Monday, a week earlier than planned.
