Weddings and Engagements Rosalind Tupper Is Engaged to Lt. M. S. Maiden MR. AND MRS.

Tullius C. Tupper, Ladue, 2660 have South announced Warson the engagement of his daughter, Miss Rosalind O'Donnell Tupper and Navy Lt. (j.g.) Michael Sayre Maiden. The bride-elect, who lives in New York and teaches in Tenafly, N.J., was in St. Louis for the Christmas holidays.

She was graduated from Mary InStitute and from Smith College, which she attended on a scholarship. Her fourth and fifth years of college were spent alt Yale University, where she took accelerated courses. She made her bow to society several seasons ago at a New Year's day reception given by Mr. and Mrs. Tupper at their home.

She also bowed at the Veiled Prophet Ball. Miss Tupper is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tullius C. Tupper of Berryville, former St.

Louisans. Lt. Maiden is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Sayre Maiden of Erdenheim, a suburb of Philadelphia.
