t-5555 Fru Pftrktnf Abby Dalton infant let tt 8 at that. The men who produce the Bishop show are as excited about the new baby as is Abby's real life husband, a Los Angeles businessman. 'They've been talking about doing a scene at the hospital," aid Abby. Miss Dalton intends to use the children on her show for only Short time, cutting off their careers before they become 2 years old. She is aware of problems that have plagued almost every child star in movie history, problems which forced many of them out of the business.

If the Bishop series is renewed, Miss Dalton's son Matthew retiring next year. Why? "He might become effected by all the attention," she said. '1 don't want him working as a child star. When somebody asks me what he's doing, I want to say, 'He's playing in Little I don't want any child stars around. I want him to go to college." Although soma viewers might think Abby's little son, 18 months old, is rolling in dough earned on the series, such is not the case.

"Matthew made about $125 last year," said Abby, who put the money into her son's bank account. "He works only four or five times a year and he gets $25 an hour. And he only works one hour at a time. "I wanted Matt to be on the show because I wanted his relatives all over the country to see him. The producers have given me all the film of him that hasn't been used." All of which means, don't ever go over to Miss Dalton's house to look at baby pictures.

You'll be there for quite a spell.
