28 CUP) The Reconstruction Finance Corp. foreclosure suit against the Lustron Corp. became snarled in a legal skirmish in the first hearings in Federal Court yesterday. Attorneys for the prefabricated housing firm raised objection after objection as RFC attorneys outlined the company's assets, liabilities, production and sales records. Get Together Judge Mel G.

Underwood, after sustaining most of the objections, ordered the' two parties to get together on records to be presented and adjourned hearing until today. Attorney Frank Harrison told the Court the Government could not get its money back through the firm's reorganization plans and that RFC would not drop its foreclosure suit. He said operation of the plant must be halted and that the money "is In Jeopardy" unless such action is taken. The RFC is asking a Judgment of million against Lustron and $15 million against Company President C8rl G. Strandlund.

Both are bankrupt, the attorney declared. On Paying Basis John C. Harlor, Lustron at-torney, said he could prove that the plant could be put on a paying basis within a year if it was allowed to continue operation. If the plant Js closed, the Lustron attorney said. 1100 employes would be thrown out of work and would cause losses up to $15 million to Lustron dealers.

Local WANT-AD Rotes Now Stmon'i wife' mother lay Hck of a fever and he came and took her by the hand, and raised her up Read verses 29-43. Bodily disease Is the most familiar form of physical distress which Christians are called upon to relieve. Christ mentions others hunger and thirst, homelessness, nakedness, Imprisonment and suggests that He will finally Judge our faithfulness to Him by our concern to help His human brothers when thus afflicted (Matthew As all that were diseased crowded alout Him In Capernaum, so It has always been with His Church: tho.se In physical distress have crowded about her for relief, and she has taken them by the hand and raised them up. Relief of physical distress is a powerful form of Christian witness. As the old name, "works of charity," implies, the great requirement here is the expression of love.

The Gospel is that God loves us enough to share our distress and even die for us. Love expressed in Christlike deeds truly preaches the gospel. Modern medicine and social science have greatly improved the means of relieving distress; but when improved means are used with cold, loveless efficiency, they become like sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. I'rayer Grant, Lord, that me may sec Thee in every distressed person who crosses our path; and may feel Thy love in the help we give him. in name of Christ.

The appeal was argued before the Board yesterday by Attorney Samuel Avins, representing the Trallercoach Assn. of Pennsylvania. Called Illegal Tollcy Mr. Avins said the Board had no right to assess the trailers for taxation and to add the assessments to the valuation of the trailer park owners. In doing this the Board added some three million dollars to the assessment books by valuing the trailers at an average of $1100 each.

Tay State ee Another point raised by Mr. Avins was double taxation. He said trailer owners already pay a license fee to the State. The Board is expected to rule on the appeal soon. If the trailer owners are not satisfied ihrv 96 zlr.
