who recently completed five years with NBC-TV where he had a Thursday night program, will return to television in the fall of 1962 with a five-a-week daytime show on ABC-TV. Ford plans no television this coming season, except for possibly an occasional "special." He says he plans to spend the year in rest and relaxation. ERNEST HEMINGWAY will be the subject of an hour-long program on NBC-TV Sunday, Oct. 1. The program will chronicle the life and impact of the author, who died two weeks ago, and will dramatize excerpts from his writings.

It will use films and still photographs to tell his story from childhood to death. RADIO STATION WAMV in East St. Louis has changed its call letters to WBBR and WBBR-FM. Station officials say, the BBR In the new call letters stands for "Big Beat Radio," which they say describes their present type of broadcasting "mostly rock roll music."
