An Illinois man was killed Wednesday morning when the vehicle he was driving struck a guard rail on U.S. 61 in Marion County and burst into flames, officials said.

Frank Edwards, 35, of Mur-physboro, 111., was pronounced dead at the scene near Hannibal after his tractor-trailer struck a guard rail on the left side of the highway, the Missouri Highway Patrol said. The tractor separated from the trailer, caught fire and plunged down an embankment, the patrol said. HUEBSCHEN, ROBERT GEORGE, born in St. Louis, MO, on February 2, 1922; passed on, Santa Clara. CA, on January 4 2001; loving husband of 49 years of Margaret Huebschen; devoted father of Greg Huebschen, Melissa Lowers and Erica Paige (deceased); father-in-law of Nancy Huebschen, Samuel Lewers and Russ Paige; grandfather of Delaney Lynn Lewers and Raymond, Phillip and Sarah Huebschen; brother of Georgette Huebschen of St. Louis. He attended St.

Louis High and Washington St. Louis Universities. He worked as an engineer at McDonnell Aircraft Corp. and then at Lockheed from 1956 to 1980, working on the original Polaris and Agena projects. In his retirement, Robert enjoyed walks at Stevens Creek Park, reading, listening to music, cooking and sharing nis life and love with family and friends.

Louis and Anna Kaseman Hospital and Highland Senior Center in Albuquerque. She enjoyed reading and playing golf.
