The busineB! of Racine this fall wan never larger or more thrifty, and merchants, farmers, laborers are reaping a reward. The Beleit Railway comes to the Harlwr, and notwithstanding its temporary suspension, the people arc confident that it will go ahead in the spring, for as one of their public spirited men remarked, Racine never undertakes anything but what she carries through. The lala Shore railway does not pass through Racine proper, but through what is formerly called Sagetown, now one of its wards under the city organization. The depot will be mile from the Court House. It is our impression that the Lake Shore Rail Road will be of fully as ranch importance to Racine as Ihe Beloit Rncinc is so beautiful a town that Chicago business men will be willing to make It their residence, as they can conveniently do, with a first clots railway in operation.
