Poe, Jewel and Bush are three past Pointfest acts whose members defy the arrogant rock-star stereotype. Luke won't say on the record which bands have been less than gracious, but concedes some musicians have shown up late for their sets, chewed out radio staffers and snubbed bill mates. However, of the nearly 100 acts that have played Pointfest, Luke says no one has ever been too intoxicated to play.

What goes on after the show is another story, though Point staffers rarely have the energy to partake in the post-festival festivities. "Sometimes we hang out with the bands after show," said Luke.
