Mclnnis and Donato marry Hetald-Zeltung, New Braunfels, Texas Sunday, July 7, 1991 Blanche Page Mclnnis and David Arthur Donato were united in marriage June 29, 1991 at St. David's Episcopal Church in Terrell Hills, San Antonio. Monsignor Patrick J. Flanagan and the Rev. Ralph Shuffler officiated at the 6 p.m.

ceremony. Organist was Donald Scbcsta The bride is the daughter of Blanche and Ernest Charles Mclnnis of San Antonio. The groom is the son of Margaret and Arthur Donato of New Braunfels. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white satin gown adorned with pearls and Oriental sequins. The puffed sleeves came to a point at the fingertips and the chapel-length train attached to the dress with a busscl-like bow with matching satin bow in the center of the train.

A matching bow headpiece was attached to a shoulder- length veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses with baby blue rose buds. Matron of honor was Carlene Sturgis Cribbs. Bridesmaids were Skandy Dec Sturgis and Becky Lynn Sturgis. The attendants wore long dresses of royal blue taffeta with off-the- shouldcr puffed sleeves.

They carried bouquets of baby blue and while roses with ivy. Bcsl man was Arthur Victor Donato, groom's father, of New Braunfels. Groomsmen were David Cribbs Jr. of Elmcndorf and Hubert Mceks of Canyon Lake. Ushers were David Cribbs Jr.

and Hubert Mceks. Following the ceremony a reception was held at St. David's Episcopal Church meeting hall. The hall was Activities Continued from Page 28 1142 Eikel. Call 620-4354.

Thursday, July 11 Women's Aglow Fellowship meets at Molly Joe's Restaurant. Fellowship begins at 9 a.m. and the meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. Lunch follows. Call 625-4452.

Comal Garden Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Pat's Place on Union Street. New Braunfels Noon Lions Club will meet at noon at Eagles Hall. New Braunfels German Folk- dancers will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Art League Building in Walnut Square.

Morrison of New Born, N.C. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lloyd Pirtle of New Braunfcls. Singing a cappella were Mr.

Lloyd Pirtle, Mrs. Laura Dokken, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Allen Pirtle, Mr. and Mrs.

Wayne Stansbury, Denise Stansbury and Betty Miller. Escorted by her father Robert L. Oehler, the bride wore a tea-length, white on while floral antique print cotton gown with a sweetheart neckline, dropped waist, capped sleeves and long sash in the back. The gown was made by Laura Dokken, groom's sister. She carried a bouquet of white roses with pink babies' breath adorned with greenery.

Maid of honor was Sherri Morris of Houston. She wore a tea-length pink floral print dress with scooped neck and puffed short sleeves. She held a single pink rose with white babies' breath and greenery. Best man was Jack Pirtle, cousin of the groom, of Austin. Following the ceremony a supper and reception were held at the home of Mr.

and Mrs. Lloyd Pirtle. White ribbons decorated the trees and white balloons and crepe paper also were used to decorate the home. Assisting in the serving were Mr. and Mrs.

Ray Miller and Robert L. Mr. and Mrs. Leigh A. Pirtle Oehler, father of the bride.

In charge of the bride's book was Sherri Morris of Houston. The wedding cake was made with a lemon cream filling, decorated with white and pink butter cream icing, made by Mrs. Geraldine Pirtle, mother of the groom. The groom's cake was a German chocolate oval shaped pound cake garnished with grapes, made by Vilma Cielencki, aunt of the bride. An honored guest was Sgt.

Scott A. Morrison, brother of the bride, of the 82nd Airborne Division of the United 1 1 States Army. He is on leave after scry- ing in Operation Desert Storm. The couple is at home in Braunfels where the groom employed at Texas Construction Service and the bride is self-employed.
