Godfrey's one-year agreement with CBS provides for his radio show and three special television programs. His appearance on NBC-TV indicates the contract is non-exclusive in the field of television. He is scheduled to host 'Tonight" the week of Sept. 24. STEVE ALLEN Is making his way back into the regular television field.

He is taking over as master of ceremonies of a syndicated late evening program similar to "Tonight," which he headed before Jack Paar. The show, produced by Westinghouse Broadcasting is not seen here. KILROY IS BACK. Warner Bros, is planning a series based on the World War II name splasher. Comedy adventures of soldiers of that war will be the basis of tha program.
