year with the rank of major. Mr. Fischer was active in the St. Louis chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Reserve Officers Association. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m.

Monday at St. Gabriel's Church, 6303 Nottingham Avenue. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Among survivors are his wife, Jose Carl A. Fischer, an executive at Venture Stores died Thursday (Aug.

22, 1991) at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur after suffering from leukemia. He was 60. Mr. Fischer, a longtime resident of St Louis, was senior internal auditor for Venture in O'Fallon, Mo.

He retired this year. in the Air Force Reserve he retired earlier this and Ireland. She also published numerous articles on the human skeleton in medical journals. Some of her honors and awards include the Viking Fund Medal in Physical Anthropology and the 1955 Globe-Democrat Award for Woman of Achievement in Science. She had honorary degrees from Western College for Women, Mount Holyoke College and Washington University.

Professor Trotter joined Washington University's School of Medicine in 1920 as a research assistant in the Anatomy Department. She held various posts in the department before she was appointed professor of anatomy in 1958. She was the first woman to be a full professor at the university's School of Medicine. She also held other posts, including anthropologist for the Army, special consultant for the U.S. Public Health Mildred Trotter, professor emeritus and lecturer at the Department of Anatomy at Washington University School of Medicine, died Friday (Aug.

23, 1991) at Bethesda-Dilworth Memorial Home in Oakland after a long illness. She was 92. Professor Trotter was one of the world's best-known "bone detectives," and she contributed much of what is known today about the variation in human skeletal mass. Her formulas for estimating stature from long-limb bone lengths are used by the FBI and in forensic medicine. Professor Trotter was a founding member and past president of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists.

She was a past president and treasurer of the Missouri State Anatomical Board and a past president of the St. Louis Anatomical Board. She was a life member of the Anatomical Society of Great Britain E. 'Bud' Dunn, 61; Building Supervisor For Kellwood- Professor Trotter was born in Mon-aca. Pa.

She got her bachelor's degree from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, and her master's and doctoral degrees from Washington University. A memorial service was pending at Washington University School of Medicine, where her body was donated. Among survivors are two sisters, Isabelle Trotter Pearce of Hudson, Ohio, and Janet Trotter Hutchison of Chesterfield. of Bridgeton; his mother, Irma Lucille Dunn of Florissant; three brothers! Joseph Dunn of Florissant, and David Dunn and Donald Dunn, both ot St. Louis; two sisters, Shirley Nottingham and Joyce Keller, both of St.

Webster Groves. Mr. Jaynes was born October 13. 1942 in Lousiville, KY to Dr. Sydney and Irene Jaynes.

On September 4 1966 he married Beverly Ann Smith and she survives. He was an Executive Consultant for Ralston Purina having worked there for the last 20 years. He was a member of the Webster Groves Presbyterian Church having served as a Deacon for several years. He was also a leader in the Boy Scout Organization, having earned the Eagle Scout Award himself in high school. He also served in the U.S.

Army for 3 years. Mr. Jaynes was a 1961 graduate of Hickman High School in Columbia, MO. In 1965 he received a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from the Univ. of MO.

In 1967 he received a Masters of Statistics also from the Univ. of MO. Surviving along with his wife are two sons, Bryan Jaynes of Tulsa OK and Barry Jaynes at Duke University, and one daughter, Becky Jaynes. a student at Stephens College. Also surviving are his parents.
