28, 2000) at his residence. Mr. Czaicki was a retired garage mechanic from the city of St. Louis Police Department. A Mass was celebrated Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Old Monroe.

Burial was at the church cemetery. Among survivors are his wife, Hedwig Czaicki of Winfield; two daughters, Catherine Czaicki and Florence Czaicki, both of Winfield; a son, Michael Czaicki of Winfield; two brothers, Walter Czaicki of O'Fallon, and John Czaicki of Belleville. John J. Stephens John J. Stephens, 64, of Wentzville, died Thursday (Oct. 26, 2000) as the result of injuries suffered in a logging accident in Wentzville. Mr.

Stephens was a self-employed residential-commercial concrete contractor, serving St. Louis and St. Charles for 34 years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1953.

A funeral service was held Monday at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles. Burial was at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Charles. Among survivors are two daughters, Erin E.

Rasmussen of Huntsville, and Vickie Stephens of Missouri; a brother, Michael J. Stephens of Springfield, a sister, Lorie Davis of St. Charles; and a grandchild. Memorials to St. Charles Humane Society in care of Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson Street, St.

Charles. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2 Seton Drive, St. Charles.

Mrs. Liston was a saleswoman for Coastal Business Supplies in Chesterfield, where she had worked for four years. She was a member of Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Assumption Catholic Church, 115 West Third Street, O'Fallon.

Burial will be at the church cemetery. Among survivors are her husband, Michael E. Liston of Wentzville; four daughters, Michelle Liston of O'Fallon, Amy Liston and Erin Liston, both of Wentzville, and Tracy Conrad of Edmond, two sons, Craig Liston of O'Fallon and Keith Liston of St. Charles; her parents, Robert Kuelker Sr. and Dorothy Kuelker of Bridgeton; a brother, Robert Luelker Jr.

Twiletta Lee Carter Twiletta Lee Carter, 53, of Warrenton, died Saturday (Oct. 28, 2000) at her residence of natural causes. Mrs. Cotter was a nurse for Dr. John O'Connor in Wentzville for many years.

She also was a substitute schoolteacher for the Warren County R-3 School District; a volunteer spokeswoman for the Mid-America Transplant Association; and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Warrenton. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1015 South Highway 47, Warrenton. Burial will be at Free Union Cemetery in Moody, Mo.
