Tne closing exercises of the Tangipahoa School, under the auspices of Mh Ella Hraughoo, principal, and Miss Addie McMahon, assistant, took place last Friday evening und proved to be a most enjoyable and successful affair. The hall was handsomely and elaborately decorated with evergreens and flowers and the stage was a scene of loveliness, decorated as it waa with exquisite rosea, ferns and palms, aud the Ameri a.tg tilled every available space.
