St Louis-to-London flights will be ended on Oct 28. The company said tickets would be honored by routing passengers through other cities served by the airline In the United States. David Coltman, chief operating officer, said Thursday that British Caledonian regretted the suspension.

"Sadly, to the last year the toads carried have been most disappointing, despite our efforts and the efforts of the city and of Ozark Air Lines to promote the gateway," he said. "There is simply insufficient traffic currently to Justify dedicated service. After a full review of the route potential and the best use of our resources, we have reluctantly decided to suspend services."
