The sum of $9000.00 is hereby transferred from the General Fund of the Fiscal Year 1933- 1934 to the Branch Library Fund for the purpose of paying for the construction and equipment of the Glenview Branch. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS AND OF, AND ADDING SECTIONS AND TO THE OAKLAND MUNICIPAL CODE, PERTAINING TO INTERSECTION STOPS. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Oakland as follows: SECTION 1. Section of the Oakland Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: SEC. INTERSECTION STOPS. Every operator of a vehicle, street car or interurban car, driving or operating on any street hereinafter In Section and designated, shall, before enter1ng any intersection in said Sections designated stop such vehicle, street car or interurban car at the entrance of such street upon which he is so driving or operating to such intersection.

The provisions of this section shall apply when there shall be in place upon the street on which such operator is driving or operating. at such intersection, stop signs located and constructed in the manner of this section shall be -operative en when the traffic at any 'such provided by the California Vehicle Act; provided, that the provisions intersection is directed and controlled by an officer, flagman, semaphore or traffic signal or device. SECTION 2. Section of the Oakland Munfeipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: SEC. DESIGNATED INTERSECTION STOPS.

Operators driving or operating on Coolidge Avenue shall stop at the entrance of said Coolidge Avenue to the intersection formed by School Street. Operators driving or operating West on Hopkins Street shall stop at the entrance of said Hopkins to the intersection formed by Canon Avenue. Operators driving or operating Northeast on Hopkins Street shall stop at the entrance of said Hopkins Street to the intersection formed by Adell Court. Operators driving or operating East on East 18th Street, shall stop at the entrance of said East 18th Street to the intersection formed by Park Boulevard. 3.

Sections and are hereby added to the Oakland Municipal Code to read respectively as follows: SEC. DESIGNATED INTERSECTION STOPS. Operators driving Southwest on Park Boulevard shall stop at the entrance of said Park Boulevard to the intersection formed by East 18th Street.
