WASK0-Residence Phone, 1414-J-FRANK PUFFEN- -Residence Phone 2182 MEMBER AUDIT BUREAU OF CIRCULATION JOSEPH LUDORF PASSES AWAY AT AGE OF 70 One of Nanticoke's best gnown and highly esteemed Polish residents, Joseph Ludorf, aged 70, died this morning at 7:20 at the family residence, 66 West Field street, following a lingering illness of complications. Deceased was born and reared in Poland, residing in Nanticoke for the past 45 years. For many years, he was active in fraternal and political affairs of the city. He was president of the Sons of Poland, which he organized 31 years ago, serving as its president since its inception.

He was also affiliated with the Z. N. 1 P. group No. 978, which "he assisted in organizing and the Polish Political and Sick Beneficial Lodge of which also organized.

She has taken very keen interest in basketball and her claim to distinction is merely that of an amateur. Coaster Injured Ruth Borman, 255 Railroad street. suffered a broken left forearm yesterday afternoon while sleigh riding near her home. She was treated at Nanticoke State Hospital and removed home. PIGEON FLYING CLUB ARRANGES RACE CARD Nanticoke Pigeon Flying Club held its regular meeting on Sunday afternoon with the entire membership present. A change was made in the Millersburg race station.

The club will fly the following races: April 19, Harrisburg, miles; April 26, Chambersburg, 125 miles; May 3, Winchester, 200 miles; May 10, Harrisonburg, miles; May 17, Beuna Vista, 300 miles; May 31, 400 miles; June 14, Bristol," 500 miles; June 28, Chatanoga, 700 miles. For the first time in the club's history, birds will be shipped through the local unit on a 1000 mile race. Frank Tropanowski and Heinz Maschin were admitted to the club. The next meeting will be held on March, 29. Following the session, will hold and smoker.

Refreshments will also be served. Visiting in Florida Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sorenson, 333 East Church are visiting in Florida, where they expect to spend five weeks. The local couple will visit the former's brothers, Nicholas, located in Ferbandina.

Brother Mourned The death of John Wisniewski, aged 62, brother of Mrs. J. Kwass, this city, occurred Saturday afternon at the family home, 1604 Dorothy street, Scranton. He resided in Scranton for 45 years, and was a member of St. Stanislaus' Polish National Church.

Surviving are two sons, Edward and Alphonse, Buffalo; three daughters, Mrs. William Reed, Liberty, N. Mrs. Bernard Bogdanski and Clara Wisniewski, Scranton; also his sister, Mrs. J.
