ft 'Elijah' Due Sunday Night The Oregon State University Choruses' spring concert is scheduled for Palm Sunday, April 15, at 8 p.m. in the coliseum. They will present the oratorio "Elijah." Soloists for the concert will be Margaret Gates, contralto, of OSU; Loren Wiebe, baritone, and Thelma Ray, soprano, both of Willamette University, and Richard Muhie, tenor, graduate of Lin- field College and teacher at Cen tral Union High School, Gresham Three Corvallis residents will be singing with the tenor section of the Glee Club. They are Ciell Conrad, vice president of Corvallis High School; Chester v. Earls, minister of music and education of the First "Methodist Church; and Gilbert Knapp, instructor of music education at OSU.

"Elijah" was composed by Felix Mendelssohn in 1846 and is based upon the Biblical story of the fiery old-testament prophet.
