Saiy Davis fcenferj collapses in arms of unidentified friends as she watches firemen bring out body of her sister. Mrs. Fannie Ivory, from rubble of their home at 27S8 Bacon street. Mrs. Ivory's body was one of the last uncovered in the storm stricken area.

Firemen, policemen and other rescue workers for hours searched rubble over a wide area for dead and injured. Curtains, pulled loose by the storm, hang haphazardly from a number of the windows, adding their testimony to the storm's force.

Emergency vehicles and rubble fill much of Olive rubble, being removed by street crew, is from Musical street, at Boyle. Business -apartment buildings in Arts building on south side of Olive.
