Caidwell, the senior son of a Presbyterian preacher, added weight to the district coaches' decision by turning in a whale of a game here Friday night despite Del Rio's 35-7 bi-district loss to the big Churchill Chargers of San Antonio. Teaming with Caldwell on the No.

1 all-district offensive unit are fellow tackle George McFarien, 180-pound senior; Ram center Mike Davis' at 200 pounds; senior Ram guard Pat McElhaney at 205 pounds; and Del Rio leading halfback, Oscar Ozuna at 1ST pounds. Caldwell's teammates on the defensive first team are downmen Rusty Chalk at 219 pounds and Stephen Quinones at 191 pounds; and Keith Stone in the secondary at 187 pounds. McFarlen was also selected as a downman on the loop's No. 2 team and Quinones was chosen as an Honorable Mention squad fullback although he has been more or less of a straight defensive player the past four games. The Rams making the District 32-AAAA No.

2 teams are senior quarterback' Mario Hernandez, David Simpson at a halfback position, Joe Frank Martinez, the lone junior classman, defensively. The Rams named to the No. 2 defensive unit are Andy Falls and Walter Woolsey in the secondary and Bemie Herrera as a linebacker along with the aforementioned McFarien. Del Rio's Honorable Mention selections besides Quinones are Paul Rosenow at a linebacker slot, Richard Salazar as a downman, Ruben Cardenas in the secondary on defense and Ervin Ridout, split end and Isidore Barrexa it a guard post besides at fullback. The Rams enjoyed 3-2 overall season, winning the 32-4A championship with six straight victories against BO defeats before bowing to Churchill in bi-district BOTH WAYS-Tom Caldwell, Ram senior, the only pteyer honored by being selected to both No.
