Friday, December 11, 1959 Register-Guard, Eugene, Oregon Veneta Youth Injured In Fall From Parked Car A 16-year-old Veneta youth was injured in a fall from a parked car Thursday night and two Washington men escaped serious injury when their car plunged down an embankment near Oakridge late Wednesday. The Veneta boy, Charles Eugene Hicks, 16, of Rt. 2, Box 188, received a possible head injury in the fall. His condition Friday was listed as satisfactory at Sacred Heart Hospital.
