The first of the Evans stations to go on the air will be KDNL-TV, Channel 30, in St. Louis, scheduled to begin broadcasting today.

The station has set up its studios in CBS Network's former KMOX-TV property, 1300 Cole street. KMEC-TV. Channel 33, in Dallas, which was acquired May 14, is scheduled to begin broadcasting later this year, according to Evans. The other properties await Federal Communications Commission approval.
