Martha Co it The Age Of Aquarius? Make That Astronomy DEAR MARTHA CARR: We are a group of girls interested in forming an astrology club. We are wondering if you know of an astrologer in the St. Louis area who would be able to help us form such an organization.

We would be most grateful for any information you could give us. MRS. P. R. ASTROLOGISTS ARE ALL LEAS BURG, MO.

DEAR MARTHA: You said in your column that there were states in which a girl with parental consent could be married at age 14.

Do any of these states allow girls who are 16 to be married without parental consent? Are there any states which allow boys 18 to be married without parental consent? Don't get the wrong idea. I'm not a 16-year-old girl who wants to run away and get married. I'm just curious. CURIOUS (IT WOULD BE CURIOUS, indeed, if the question were prompted only by academic interest). In none ot the 50 states can a girl of 16 be married without her parents' consent.

But four states make it possible for 18-year-olds of both sexes to marry without permission. They are Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina and South Carolina. DEAR MARTHA: I am 13 years old, going on 14. I am interested in a part-time job after school and in the summer. Due to crowded conditions, our school is having two sessions; therefore, my day ends at 1 o'clock.

I make good grades, so my parents and I feel that I can handle a job. I have done baby-sitting, but would like something more steady. What do you suggest for my age LeA. B. YOUNG PEOPLE have to be 16 to get work permits, a fact I'm sure you already know.

But 14-year-olds who are resourceful manage, nevertheless, to create profitable jobs for themselves. They see a need, think how they can fill it, and proceed to sell themselves. You sound like the kind of girl who has what it takes to follow this routine. Good luck. Tips On Bridge Play FREE ADMISSION (When Two Are Ordered) AT DOMETO'S Restaurant Lounge 7895 WATSON1 RD.

With the opening club lead, even 10 tricks are none too easy to land.

Cover the defenders' cards and see how well you can do. Because West has more likely led from the club queen than the ace, you put in the jack from dummy and are rewarded when it forces the ace. How ever, good fortune turns to bad, when East returns the suit, using up your only entry to the board before you are able to establish a heart winner. Now you are faced with a certain loser in hearts and a possible loser in both spades and diamonds. Of course, a successful finesse in either of two suits would eliminate one of them.

Is there a better line of play? Actually the diamond finesse isn't even necessary, because you can concede the heart king and discard your diamond loser on the queen. All you have to do is to figure out a way to get back to dummy to cash it. Do you see how? The defense cannot prevent your 'getting back the board with the trump 10 to discard a diamond on the queen of hearts.
