Tale of Super Child The Lights Out Drama The Lights Out drama at 8:00 tomorrow will be "A Child Is Crying." The eerie tale relates the impact on national security of a 9-year-old child, an advance specimen of a brainy species that will know all the answers. Not a prodigy in the usual sense of the word, the strange child Is an apparent mutation, first of a number of supermen who will run the world according to cold perfectionism. 'Dizzy' Dean on Panel Of Celebrity Time "Dizzy" Dean, one-time baseball pitching great, who now has his own television program on a New York station, and Fannie Hurst, the novelist, will be the truest panelists in the Celebrity Time show at 10:30 tonight. The Waring family will be pictured meeting again in the family parlor at Tyrone, Penna, and scenes of Waring's childhood will be recalled with music typical of that at songfests Sunday nights in his parents' home.

The parlor will be pictured with its family portrait, lace curtains and the side staircase on which five little Wearing children sat as they listened to the music making as Mother Waring played the black upright piano and Father Waring manipulated cylinder records on the old-fashioned phonograph. W7i in iM fc i I ing dance orchestra job. Bette Chapel, now in the Garro way at Large TV show, went along "just for the ride," a ride that won her first professional contract. Presently she was studying singing in Chicago, soon had solo billing in night clubs, then fascinated several television scouts. At first tagged a "bop stylist," Bette sings ballads or bouncy novelty songs equally well.

La Chapel, as Garroway calls her, was born in Cincinnati 24 years ago. Her Italian ancestry shows in her olive complexion, brewn hair, expressive dark eyes antl pertly vivacious manner. The singer has little time for hobbies, but does enjoy sketching hints for the formal gowns she wears when working in supper clubs. For relaxation and exercises, she hops on a bicycle. Her only real extravagance is a whole closet full of shoes.

She is a good cook, especially at frying chicken, sings expressively, and loves to dress up her singing with a bit of acting. Alfreda Wallace 1 In the TV Theater Alfreda Wallace, Kim Dibbs, who played Buck Rogers for TV until recently, and Richard Mc-Murray will be seen in the "TV Theater at 7:38 this evening in "Hands of the Enemy." Nina Foch Heads Cast In the Circle Theater Nina Foch will head the cast in a Circle Theater production at 8:30 Tuesday of "The Rose and the Shamrock." As number of video sets in the Louis district has been increasing approximately 7500 a month, it is estimated that there at least 140,000 operating today. March 1, there were 97,350 sets in this area, and 127,543 been installed by May 1. The national total of television is estimated already to have exceeded 6.000,000. the figure originally estimated as possible be reached by the end of this year. 'Noah' the Bill for Television Theater Andre Abey's "Noah" will be produced in the Television Theater at 8:00 Wednesday with Vaughn Taylor playing the title and Doris Rich, Stewart Bradley, Joy Reese and Jean Pugsley taking other parts.

As the play opens, Noah has received a message that the universe will be deluged by rain. next day, Noah begins to build a boat strong enough to combat the heavy seas, but is stymied as to how to build it according to orders without a rudder. When the departure date arrives. rvoah summons his three sons, Ham, Shem and Japhet, his wife, three neighbor girls and representatives of the animal world aboard and when the rains come ark attempts to ride out the storm. Life becomes more and more monotonous aboard the boat as days go by.

Ham starts the rumbling by taunting his shipmates with misgivings and pointing out that although Noah had promised a new world as their destination, no land had been sighted. Not only is Noah faced with open rebellion, but he fears that the sender of the message has deserted him. Joseph Buloff Stars In Television Comedy Joseph Buloff, stage and screen comedian, will be starred in the Television Playhouse at 8:00 to night in an adaptation of "Any thing Can Happen," the story by George and Helen Papashvily about a Russian immigrant in this country, who eventually marries heiress and finds the country stranger than ever. Buloff, Lithuanian by birth, played all over Europe, became a Max Rein hardt protege and came to the United States in 1927. Starred on Broadway in "Call Me ZiggyT" he won raves from the critics.

Although the show lasted only one night, he was made so far as the American stage was concerned. Theater-goes probably will remember him the mad Persian peddler in "Oklahoma" and the screwy Greek landlord in "My Sister Eileen." Faye Emerson will go into the spot on KSD-TV next Sunday, and then will be shifted to 7:00 Wednesdays, start- ine Julv 5.

Glenn Ford and William Halden have formed a TV film producing and acting partnership. Skitch Henderson has become another NBC contract exclusive, at $50,000 a year. The David Harum serial is being considered for video. BURR TILLSTROM, producer of Kukla. Fran and Ollie, has ac cepted a 10-year contract to produce "The Land of Oz" as a tele vision series for NBC based on "The Wizard of Oz" with the characters played by puppets.

An audition of Henry Morgan's proposed television show, picturing persons of unusual talents, has just been completed for NBC. Among those on the audition pro gram were a tap dancer who per formed on jello, a muscle dancer who bounced his muscles rhyth mically against boards strapped to his arms and a whisky bottle serenades There will be no Studio One telecast tomorrow night on KSD because a strike interfered with production of the scheduled drama. WW ED SULLIVAN is reported lining up sports figures for his Toast of the Town through the summer After much experimenting, studio-staged wrestling matches will be telecast on a year's basis by WLW-TV, Cincinnati. Put on before invited, non-paying studio audiences, the bouts provide as exciting TV pictures as those in professional arenas. Hour-long films of these studio matches are being aired by 17 video stations.
