Dil-lahunty, who graduated in 1987 from Francis Howell High School, recently participated in Exercise Dragon Hammer while serving aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt. The ship's home port is Norfolk, Va.

The exercise was conducted in the Mediterranean Sea with forces from Italy, the Netherlands, Turkey, France, Spain and the United Kingdom. It involves warfare exercises, power projection and amphibious training. Dillahunty joined the Navy in 1987. Marine Pvt. Scott E.

Schaberg, son of Stephen J. Schaberg of St. Charles, recently completed recruit training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif. He graduated last year from Bet-tendorf High School in Bettendorf, Iowa. Marine Cpl.

Kevin D. Meyer, son of Virgie A. Meyer of St. Charles, recently completed the non-commissioned officer course. Meyer is currently serving at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Ga.

He graduated from Fort Zumwalt High School in 1982 and joined the Marine Corps in 1984. Navy Seaman Recruit Gregory F. Meier recently completed training at the Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, 111. He graduated from Francis Howell High School in 1986 and joined the Navy this year. Marine Pfc.

Scott D. Mitchell, son of Charles E. and Karen A. Mitchell of St. Charles, recently completed a basic engineering course at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

He graduated from St. Charles West High School in 1988 and joined the Marine Corps that year. Marine Pvt. Kevin P. Stevens, son of Samuel O.

and Judith G. Stevens of St. Peters, recently completed the basic helicopter course at the Naval Air Technical Training Center in Millington, Tenn. He graduated in 1987 from Fort Zumwalt High School. Coast Guard Petty Officer 3rd Class Scott D.

Mercer, son of David H. and Judith L. Mercer of St. Peters, was promoted to his current rank after completing the aviation electrician's mate course at the Aviation Technical Training Center, Elizabeth City, N.C. He graduated from Fort Zumwalt High School in 1981 and joined the Coast Guard in 1983.

Navy Cadet Michael W. Wat-kins, son of Bonnie S. Lindner of St. Charles, was recently designated a naval aviator. He graduated in 1984 from Francis Howell High School and joined the Navy Reserve In 1987.

Marine Pvt. James E. Gulon, son of Lonnie R. and Sara M. Guion of St.

Peters, recently completed training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego. He graduated last year from Francis Howell High School. Coast Guard Seaman Apprentice Brian M. Packer, son of Edward and Linda S. Packer of St.

Charles, recently completed recruit training at Cape May, N.J. He graduated from St. Charles West High School In 1987 and joined the Coast Guard this year. Navy Seaman Recruit Kendra R. Rodale, daughter of Robert D.

and Gloria J. Rodale of St. Charles, recently completed the basic storekeeper course at the Naval Technical Training Center, Meridian, Miss. She graduated from Francis Howell High School in 1988 and joined the Navy the same year. Marine Pfc.

James P. Quinn, son of Dennis J. and Jennifer Quinn of St. Peters, has completed recruit training at the Marine Corps Recruiting Depot in San Diego. He graduated from Francis Howell High School in 1987 and joined the Marine Corps this year.

Marine Lance Cpl. Sean M. Daly, son of Edward J. and Clau-dette C. Daly, was recently presented with the Navy and Marine Corps parachutist insignia after completing five operational parachute jumps with 2nd Air and Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

He joined the Marine Corps in 1986. Marine Cpl. Jeffrey M. Schoon-over, son of Robert H. and Sharon K.

Schoonover of St. Peters, was recently promoted to his current rank while serving with the 1st Marine Division, Twentynine Palms, Calif.
