The cooks arc very accommodating to the men, but not so to the sick Sergt.Romlg was the only sick man in camp on Saturday evening.

Sergt. Pettys has lady's day every day, even though it is against the rules of the camp. Major Leslie could not sleep on Saturday night, due to the noise made by Fox falling out of his cot. Private W. Boltz plucked chickens yesterday and for so doing gets two hearts of the chickens'at mess.

The cooks, Miss Sue Euston, Mrs, Hackman and Mrs. Pettya picked blackberries, and Mrs. Miller made pie. They were very much enjoyefi by the men of the company. Mr.
